My favourite kitchen gadget

I was cleaning my kitchen today and took a good look at all the gadgets I have in there. I don’t have many. For a start, I have a build-in oven that is not working. If I switch it on, the power in the entire house will trip. It has been years but Darling did not get it fix so I have been baking cakes using my rice cooker. I am not able to bake cookies hence I am quite sad as I am a cookie monster and so do the boys. Sigh…

Then, I have a food processor that I use to make fruit smoothie and ice blended beverages for the family. I also have a soya maker that I use once every blue moon. That fella qualifies as a white elephant in my kitchen.

And then I have this – a breadmaker. THIS is my love. I use it very often to make breads. I love it when the house smells like a bakery each time we bake a fresh loaf of bread. Homemade breads is a healthier option too as there is no preservative in it.

I love homemade breads but I won’t do it without a breadmaker. All the kneading and waiting for proofing is just too tedious to do manually. Those without a breadmaker won’t believe how easy it is to bake a loaf of bread. All we needed to do is just add all the necessary ingredients and press a button or two. We continue with our daily routine and a couple of hours later, the bread is ready.

Doesn’t matter the brand of the breadmaker. They are generally the same. Believe me when I say it is extremely easy to bake a bread using a breadmaker. It is so simple that Ayden is able to do it himself.

Watch this video of 2Y10M Ayden baking his very own raisin loaf:

If that doesn’t convince you to get a breadmaker, what will? This is NOT a sponsored review

When it first made the scene many years ago, everyone in the family rushed out to buy – I didn’t. It was over RM200 then. Now, I never hear of them making break using that anymore – probably sitting in the storeroom somewhere.

I had a sandwich/waffle maker like your oven – was perfectly all right when we used it on and off and one fine day, the electricity tripped when my girl switched it on – I had to throw it away. :(

I joined the FB Breakmaker group hence I am still into it coz they post new bakes often so we are all tempted to try. haha. Must keep ourselves motivated in order not to turn into a white elephant :D

That suck when your built-in oven not working. Better get experienced people to fix it than get your hub. You never know what is wrong with it. Causing a trip not a light issue.

Breadmaker. Yup, I have been thinking to get one. Haha. But I dont have much space so I am stil weighing whether to get one or not. Sigh. The latest appliance I bought? A food processor and it is still in the box. Geez.

Good la it is still in the box. Your hubby can wrap it up and give you this Christmas as your Christmas present :P

I used to bake bread once a week but since I found out that I’m the one who finish most of the bread, I seldom bake it now >__<~)

Kenny and Sam are not bread person? Kesian. You bake lah, I help you eat :D

Wah, Ayden is so pro – can bake bread now. What a great gadget!

This one very easy, just add everything inside, press button and wait for it to be done. That is all :)
