Craft for Children: Footprint Popsicle

It has been a while since our last arts and crafts project. Today’s project is making paper popsicle out of the boy’s footprint. Ayden can’t do much here so Ethan assisted him when it comes to tracing and cutting.

Footprint Popsicle Art materials

Materials needed are coloured paper, popsicle stick, glue, pencil and a pair of scissors.

Big brother Ethan helped trace Ayden’s footprint.

He also helped to cut it out.

Ayden is able to apply glue onto the popsicle stick so we let him do it himself.

He then pasted the paper popsicle onto the stick.

It is so yummy Ayden wanted to eat it!

Here is the video of the boys in action. I always love to bring our projects outdoors :-P

One week school holiday is coming so I must think of more projects ASAP!

A week long holiday. I already headache thinking how to entertain my kids! Maybe some arts and crafts in order.

Love your idea of bringing crafts outside. Thanks for sharing your project. Both boys were so happy.

Haha! I remember doing this as a kid too!

I didn’t have craft paper to do it though but we’ll just do it on standard A4 paper – put our feet on it, draw around the toes and arches and cut it out.

I can’t remember what I used to do after we cut it out but definitely did not think of sticking a popsicle stick on it. The pink color does look appetising though, maybe he thought it looks like a popsicle since it was mounted on a stick.

Eee so cute! The way Ayden sat is so ‘si man’ and cute!

Hahaha, I thought you are making real popsicles that can be eaten in the shape of your children’s footprint.

It looks like a nice weather to have outdoor activity like this.
