On weeks when I am too busy to go grocery shopping, I’ll take the opportunity to do so when Ethan is attending his drum class. I’ll usually make it a quick one and grab whatever I needed the most. Ayden will as usual happily grabs whatever he wants and places it into my bundle together.
Why is everything GREEN?!
Ayden is at the stage where he prefers to be running around instead of sitting still in his stroller. I bring his stroller with me all the time so that I can put all my groceries in it.
Last evening I was pushing the stroller as shown above.
In it is the watermelon that is too heavy for me to carry.
Suddenly this girl came out of nowhere to have a look at what is inside. It got her mother curious too and she too came to look. Ayden got all defensive and started to hold on tight to the watermelon!
Both the mother and the girl burst out laughing when they saw that it was just a watermelon safely buckled up in the stroller. LoL!

Hahahaha!! Put watermelon instead of Ayden in the stroller? :D
Better than to leave it empty :D
Hahahaha!! Seriously, watermelon on a stroller itself is not funny, but why you buckle it up lah? XD
Have to buckle it up or else it may roll off the stroller when Merryn is pushing it.
Betul betul betul!
We stopped bringing Jamie’s stroller early last year. He used to love to sit on the shopping cart but lately he will wail and does not want to sit in the cart. Like Ayden, he prefers to run around. So plus grocery shopping, we have to keep an eye on him running here and there.
I usually do a quick grocery shopping on weekday where I can go early (before 9am) to avoid crowd with Jamie. Only on weekend, we will do a serious shopping which put a big hole on hubby’s pocket most of the times. Hehehe.
We usually do grocery shopping once a week too during the weekends and yes, it will definitely burn a big hole in the daddy’s pocket. Sigh… RM100 buy us not many things these days.
So nice to see Ayden running about so actively! Nowadays many busy mothers buy fresh grocery from happyfresh online grocery. I have not used that service so I don’t know how good or not it is.
I don’t fancy online shopping unless I am really desperate. It is bad enough that kids don’t get to play outside often these days. I dont want them to grow up in the confinement of the four walls. I am an outdoor person and I prefer my kids to be the same too :D
luckily that girl did not cry after finding out it was a watermelon in a white plastic buckled to your stroller.. but why only the watermelon left, i thot you have the broccoli, the corn, the bendi and the green apple flavored vitagen??
The rest of the stuffs are in the lower compartment of the stroller. The watermelon is too big to go in there. Haha.
Stroller is a good trolley for shopping, haha!
I guess most moms are guilty of this at one point of their lives. Hehe.
Why watermelon need safety belt too? =.=”
