Chinese New Year OOTD

I am back! Am finally home with fast internet connection! *Dusting off cobwebs* I’ve not updated my blog for a week now because the internet connection in both my in-law’s and my parent’s place are so lagging it will take me hours just to post a proper blog post so I decided to take a break completely. I was also too occupied catching up on life offline that it does not even matter :D

There are so many things to do once we are home. My plants did not survive being left alone for an entire week. Only one pandan pot survived. I have to regrow everything tomorrow. Thank goodness I am prepared for this and made sure I have harvested enough seeds before the CNY break.

Tomorrow also means the 5am routine is back. Zzzz… I woke up late the entire CNY week that I feel so lazy to wake up at 5am again :(

Anyway, let me share some pictures of the boys during the entire CNY break. They both wear matching outfits throughout the entire week thanx to my sister-in-law who bought them so many clothes.

We bought the boys matching CNY tee from Giordano.

However my sister-in-law bought more! She bought these:

The boys wore the above on Lichun, the first day of the Monkey year.

My sister-in-law also bought these long sleeve shirt from MIKI for the boys. They wore it when we went for lou sang at Hatten Hotel, Melaka. Shall blog about that later.

She also bought these adorable sleeveless tee that has all the 12 animal zodiac in the Chinese calendar from Tesco.

She also bought these Monkey tees from Padini kids.

And these too, also from Padini.

She also bought these singlets also from Padini Kids for the boys to wear in the evenings when they go running in the neighbourhood.

SIX pairs! She bought SIX pairs and she did it without even having the boys with her yet the clothes all fit them perfectly. I don’t think I can do that. I always need them to try on anything before I make my purchase >_<

Haha. Like twin, wearing same outfits. My boys only wore the same outfits on 1st day. My Jamie wasnt that thrilled to wear new outfits, he kept taking his regular casual wears to wear. Lol.

  Ayden is similar as Jamie. He refused to wear the blue monkey shirt and the star singlet too initially but after some persuasion, he finally oblige >_<

Lovelt tee – the Giordano one. Wahhhh…that little one memang tak nak kalah, want to lou sang also. So cute lah, he! That cheeky face!!! Cannot stand tengok, rasa want to pinch him kao-kao!!! LOL!!!

So nice of your sister-in-law to buy so many clothes for your boys! Next time you plan to leave your plants alone, you can setup an automatic plant watering system so that they get enough water while you are away.

  I was too lazy to get the automatic plant watering system. Since my plants are all easy to grow again I thought might as well let them dry up and start afresh after the New Year :D

you make me shameful lah Merryn.. you took a break from blogging because of the turtle-speed internet.. i was in KL having the dog-speed internet yet i was lazy to blog, but CNY mah, never mind lah, just take a break from blogging since many other bloggers also beraya-raya..

  I thought the same too – take a break since other bloggers also beraya-raya. Nobody reads blogs anyways during the festive break so we might all just take a break and have a Kit Kat. LoL.
  
  It was nice living my life as a normal person and not as a blogger. It was nice to experience everything without wanting to take pictures and record every single moment. It was nice to eat without needing to photograph my food :D
