Build great moments – one brick at a time with SHELL V-POWER LEGO® Collection
The Shell V-Power LEGO® Collection, an exclusive range of buildable Ferrari collectibles made out of LEGO bricks is back with six new models which include: four iconic Ferrari car models; a Shell station with a Scientist LEGO Minifigure; and a Finish Line and Podium with a Ferrari Engineer LEGO Minifigure. A special edition Shell Tanker and a Collector’s Case are added for extra excitement.
The model cars in the collection feature the smallest pull-back motor ever produced by the LEGO Group, created especially for Shell to propel each vehicle more than 2 metres on a single pull.

Ethan is an avid collector of this limited edition collection created with Ferrari and the LEGO® Group and was extremely excited to know that we will be attending the launch of the SHELL V-POWER LEGO® Collection.
Shell held an activity centres at Sunway Pyramid (Blue Concourse) from November 5 to November 8 and Gurney Plaza, Penang from November 12 to November 15. The exhibition will then move south to Angsana Johor Bahru Mall from November 20 to November 22.
During the exhibition, the public will be able to view all the models from the latest Shell V-Power LEGO Collection, while enjoying interactive games and activities. Also on display are significantly larger (1:2 scale) versions of the four Ferrari Lego models, which took 930 hours to build.

Ayden wanted to drive it too. The Ferrari LEGO® 1:1 Model Car was built at LEGO Productions s.r.o. located in Kladno, Czech Republic, by a team of 16 builders working in two shifts.

The Ferrari LEGO® 1:1 Model Car is made of more than 214,950 LEGO bricks. It was assembled in 2 parts (front part and back part) for ease of transport and took seven months to develop and 810 days to build. It sports real Pirelli race tyres, race seat belt and a detachable steering wheel and has space in the cockpit to seat an adult.

Breakfast was served during the SHELL V-POWER LEGO® collection launch.
“Many of us have played with Lego bricks as a child, so why not relive the good old days with friends? With the school holidays fast approaching, perhaps parents can spend more time with their children by building Ferrari collectibles and Lego playsets,” said Tuan Haji Azman Ismail, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia and Shell Timur.
The Ferrari F138 LEGO® 1:2 Model Car is made of 37,200 bricks. It took 200 hours to build with a weight of 104kg and dimensions of 2288 x 832 x 499 mm.
The Ferrari 250 GTO LEGO® 1:2 Model Car is made of 54,900 bricks and took 220 hours to build. It is 122kg and 2200 x 848 x 624 mm.
The Ferrari 512 S LEGO®1:2 Model Car is made of 52,200 bricks and took 200 hours to build. It is 125kg and 2128 x 912 x 499 mm.
The Ferrari F12berlinetta LEGO® 1:2 Model Car is made of 81,000 bricks. It took 310 hours to build. It is 170kg and 2320 x 1056 x 624 mm.

I took the opportunity to spend some quality time with Ethan by participating in the LEGO-building contest. It was great working alongside this boy of mine trying to build the Ferrari F138 LEGO® model.
The Shell V-Power LEGO Collection in Malaysia is a three-month promotion running from 1 Nov 2015 – 31 Jan 2016. New models will be released every Sunday from 1 November until 13 December 2015 and will be available for purchase at Shell stations nationwide until 31 January 2016 or while stocks last.
With a minimum purchase of RM40 of Shell V-Power and Shell FuelSave or 4-litre purchase of Shell Helix motor oil, customers will be able to buy one of the six LEGO models, priced between RM9.90 and RM13.90.
Motorists will also have the special opportunity to purchase the limited-edition Shell Tanker for RM9.90 with every RM40 pump of Shell V-Power or purchase of Shell Helix HX5 & HX7 (4-litre), and FREE with every purchase of Shell Helix Ultra (4-litre).
Ethan and I spent a wonderful time building all the Shell V-Power LEGO models.

I got the Lego car and a truck previously HB gotten for us.

if those Lego cars are so big that i could sit in them, and probably built in with engine to drive, i want!! but then i scared later the Lego car breaks down half way on the busy highway leh, hahahaha~~ :D
