Dusting off cobwebs
Oh dear. I have just noticed the last I updated my blog was on the 1st October. I better write something today otherwise it will be covered with cobweb. I actually have many things to blog about but I just don’t have the time to do it.
You see, I only have less than a couple of hours a day to work on my blog and that is at midnight when the kids are in bed and I’ve completed my house chores. But for the past few days, Ayden’s sleeping pattern has gone haywire. He has successfully gone diaperless but now refused to nap. It is okay if he doesn’t want to nap BUT the problem is he gets sleepy by 7pm and will eventually fall asleep no matter what I do to keep him awake. After 30 minutes or so he’ll wake up again and that is when trouble begins. He won’t be able to sleep at night and will be awake up to 1am. By the time I managed to get him to bed, I’ll be too tired too and ended up sleeping with him. That’s why my blog is not updated lah.
THE END.
But since I am awake and my writing mojo is here, let me tell you a bit of our Friday and Saturday. The haze was horrible on Friday, wasn’t it? We did not stay home though as we’ve already planned to meet up with my foodie friends for a Korean dinner.
Look at the kids going crazy over the Bingsu. Bingsu is the Korean version of our ais kacang. The kids had a great time digging into that super huge bowl of goodness. I’ll blog about this place later :)
On Saturday, the haze got worst but Ethan was out early in the morning for his Taekwondo grading test. Ayden and I stayed home but not for long as it’s the weekend and I NEED TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE Ayden gets bored easily too so we brought him to an indoor gym to work out some sweat.
I noticed that I haven’t write a proper blog post about this indoor gym Ayden is attending for quite some time. I thought nobody will be interested but I got enquiries asking me about it so I’ll try to compile more pictures and write a thorough post on it soon, okay?
A parent is required to be with the child at all times but in Ayden’s case, the big brother Ethan sits in together instead.
He is getting better at taking instructions but not for long as he is also a rascal, sometimes preferring to run around on his own.
I love to see both of them working together to complete a task.
Not only the kids get a proper workout, the parent also need to stay active. I was doing sit-ups with Ayden on me. If I do this every week, surely I’ll get fabulous abs.
Ayden’s favourite at the end of each lesson – bubble time!
After Ayden’s gym class, we went to 1U to grab some fruits for tomorrow’s potluck dinner. The boys shouted with joy when they saw an exhibition of sports car.
Apa lagi, take pictures lah. I don’t know why boys and men can get excited looking at cars. I feel nothing.
Ethan’s favourite is this Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 (whatever that means).
To me, this reminds me of Bumble Bee.
The boys spent a considerable time here while I kept yawning away…
Okay lah. I think that is enough words for today. I am googling ‘How to Carve a Watermelon’ now. If all is well, I’ll get to bring a watermelon basket for tomorrow’s potluck dinner. If it fails, then you’ll see fruit salad in a glass bowl lah.
interesting picture of the bingsu and kids
Never seen nor heard of Bingsu, much less tried it. Me, so jakun, jungle people one. Poor Ayden, pushed to the side by the bigger boys. I hope he got to eat, kesian. :D
How can you not get excited with fast cars?? Are you getting old??
My eyes on the Lamborghini!! Yellow is my colour some more!!!
Hmm. I guess it is just a phase for Ayden at the moment. Hope it passes soon. Poor mummy, need her beauty sleep.
So many topics in one post. Ethan and Ayden working together in the gym is so heart warming. Good workout for mommy too in the gym.
