Malacca’s Famous Chicken Rice Balls

I was back at my parent’s place in Malacca last weekend. My Dad will always make sure there is breakfast ready on the table each time his kids and grandchildren are home. If he buys something spicy such as nasi lemak or roti canai, he’ll make sure to buy a packet of noodles for Ethan and Ayden.

He knows of Ayden’s latest fascination with fishballs so he went out of his way to get Malacca’s famous dish for us.

When I woke up and get out of bed, I saw these mouth-watering chicken rice balls on the table.

Malacca’s chicken rice balls. It will definitely help fussy eaters to eat some rice.

I super love the chicken. They are so soft and tender.

The above two pictures are taken using my Samsung NX 500 camera. Nice kan? :D

See? My camera also get to eat ^_^

Both Ethan and Ayden ate quite a lot of rice balls. They did not eat much of the chicken though. But Darling and I enjoyed the chicken a lot.

My Dad is very cute. When I was sitting there staring at the chicken rice balls thinking if I should take a picture of it and finally decided to grab my camera, he said this to me, “Daddy took pictures of it already in case you wake up late and others started to dig in” and proceeded to show me the pictures of the chicken rice balls he took using his phone. LoL! So cute! That’s not all. My Mom told me when he got home with the chicken rice balls, he placed them onto some very nice plates. My Mom asked him why must he use those plates and he replied her, “In case Merryn wants to take pictures of them”. Aww… isn’t he the cutest thing? Haha. My parents definitely know me too well. My Mom even said, people say a prayer before they eat but Merryn will take pictures of her food instead -.-
