DIY Pacifier Holder

Ayden doesn’t use pacifier but recently because he is teething (yes, his top two front teeth are finally making their appearance) he likes to bite on them a bit. He doesn’t use them long. Just a suckle or two, a couple of bites and that’s it. But this will repeat after an hour or whenever he feels the itch.

I got fed-up having to hand him the pacifier and take them away and give it back to him and then keep it back and on and on so I got a pacifier holder for him. BUT he dislike me clipping the pacifier to his shirt and will always tug it out and throw it away.

Last week, I saw this tag we got from our recent Ice Age trip in Genting and thought that it will make a good pacifier holder.

It holds the pacifier perfectly and best of all, Ayden doesn’t mind it hanging on his neck like that. From that day onwards, the pacifier has been dangling like that whenever we are out. I am very careful to remove it when he is sleeping as it is a choke hazard though.

Both of my boys never like pacifier. So they never use them long. Maybe that is why they like to bite things (and people!). ^^

I actually don’t know what a pacifier means until now, hahaha! I always call that chut chut :P
