Mangosteen Lollipops
We went back to my in-law’s place last weekend and got these load full of local fruits from my father in-law’s orchard.
Durian
Don’t know what’s the name of this fruit. Is it pulasan?
Rambutans.
Talking about rambutans and any other fruits, in my house, if I don’t peel them, no one will eat them. So each time we bring home all these fruits, I will have to peel and keep them in a container and store them in the fridge.
Once cooled, Darling will happily take from the fridge and eat. I don’t mind lah actually because I prefer to eat them cold too especially durians. Yums! It’s like eating durian ice-cream! But then again, I don’t usually have the patience to wait for the durian to get cold as I always gasak them all upon opening.
BUT of so many fruits out there, there is ONE fruit that Darling will peel for me. This one and only fruit is mangosteen. Why? Because if I peel mangosteen, it will be very messy but Darling can do it perfectly that it becomes a lollipop!
Mangosteen Lollipop
See! Darling can peel it until the mangosteen becomes so cute! I love eating mangosteen this way but can never peel it like this. The flesh can never stay intact whenever I do it so Darling will help me and I tell you, it’s not easy because look at the amount of mangosteen we always get from my in-law:
Jeng jeng jeng! Darling peel until pengsan! Good for him. This is to compensate for the rest of the fruits he did not peel. Hahahahaha.
I’m so happy to eat the mangosteen lollipop that my anak terkena neglect, bogel tak pakai baju. Wait ah baby, let mommy eat mangosteen first…
Take a good look at my silly face. Good. Now let that face haunt you in your sleep. So bodoh punya face still wanna post here. Hehe… >_<
