Ethan’s Very First Sports Day
Friday was Ethan’s first Sports Day ever. That boy never had the chance to attend any Sports Day in preschool as he was home-schooled pretty much all the way except the last 7 months when I found out I was pregnant and sent him to Kindy due to my bad morning sickness.
A week before the Sports Day, his teacher told the students involved that they are to be present in school at 7.30am. Darling complained that he cant wake up so early and told Ethan to ask his teacher if he can go by 8am instead. This Ethan seriously asked his teacher…*translated to English*
Ethan: Teacher, for Sports Day, can I come at 8 instead of 7.30?
Teacher: Of course you cant. Why? Why cant you come at 7.30?
Ethan: My father said he cant wake up so early.
Nguang nguang nguang… And next week is Parents Teacher Meet! Mampos!!! @_@
Anyway, true enough, they were late BUT it’s ok as their match is only at 10am. So Ethan wait, wait and waited under the scorching hot sun with his friends.
Spotted a monkey in the field :P
Ethan and his Green Team members.
There he goes! Carrying a ball in a cone, dashing through at lightning speed!
After putting the cone in the hoop, he hop back to his friends with the ball in between his legs.
Ethan cheering for his team members.
Wow! Not bad. They got 1st place!
Well done Team Green! Excellent team work and showmanship there. Ethan is very proud with his Gold Medal and went to sleep at night with it (and his sunburn too).

Haha! I like Ethan’s conversation with his teacher. Very clever to blame the dad for being late!
