Gold Coast Morib Resort
This year, my parents did not celebrate Chinese New Year in Malacca due to the passing of the family’s matriarch last year. My eldest sister (and family) took my parents to Gold Coast Morib Resort instead. We joined them on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Though we just had lunch before pushing off to Morib, we arrived just in time as my family were about to have lunch so we ate together much to Ethan’s displeasure as he just can’t wait to go to the Water Theme Park.
We had lunch at Golden Sea Restaurant located just next to Gold Coast Morib Resort. Those dishes with herbal drinks cost around RM180.
I especially love the fish, sour and savoury, very appetising! But the clam was a disappointment as some were bad :(
After lunch we returned to the resort and get changed.
Darling took Ethan down this slide a couple of times before Ethan dared to try it alone.
Finally he slid down on his own :)
My sister and her family
My brother-in-law booked 3 rooms and their rooms faced the Water Theme Park. As we were looking at Ethan enjoying himself in the Water Theme Park, the lifeguard there even joked with us asking us to jump into the pool from the balcony of our room! LoL!
After having a splashing fun time in the Water Theme Park, Ethan continued to have fun in the jacuzzi in the room.
He got hungry after shower and ate at the balcony with my Dad.
We took a stroll by the beach before dinner.
The sand was very fine BUT the beach was very smelly! It was very murky and muddy. We were surprised to see people swimming in the yucky water. We did not let Ethan play there too long as the beach was really a nightmare! I’ve never seen such a terrible beach in my life. The stench was nauseating, I had to leave..
We proceeded to dinner at Restaurant Assam Batu Laut not too far away from the resort.
The food here is not bad and the bill totaled to RM180 too. I really don’t mind taking a drive down to Morib to indulge in their seafood again.
This is our first time spending Chinese New Year with my family out of Melaka. It doesn’t matter where we are, as long as we are together, that’s all that matters!
Last but not least, the most memorable pictures of my parents in Gold Coast Morib Resort.
Wop, Ethan’s nude photo. Child pornography alert! =p
Lovely food, lovely place, so much fun. No pic of you in bikini? You can swim?
i haz bikini but i dont swim. I’m more like a tea bag actually.. Dip, dip, dip.
lol on STP’s last question. Your parents are so sporting. I can see you guys having so much fun there. Especially Ethan.
smelly beach? I thought that is the beach of Golden Palm Tree Resort?
At one glance, I thought your sister was you. Glad that you guys had fun. Your parents are really cool. Thanks for your warm comments, Merryn. Appreciate it.
