Sunway Pyramid’s Chinese New Year decor
Our second stop for our CNY mall decor hunt is Sunway Pyramid. They have a huge junk ship right smack in the Centre Court. A junk is an ancient Chinese sailing vessel/ship design still in use today. A junk is usually fully loaded with food and goods hence the Winds of Fortunes in Sunway Pyramid this CNY.
I love the junk. It’s nicely built. I still remember their magnificently tall dragon last year and they certainly did not disappoint us this year.
Everything looked so real..
Ethan having fun steering the junk.
He even threw some coins into the chest of gold before leaving.
Thumbs up to Sunway Pyramid’s CNY decor this year :D

If the junk is facing the entrance, all the prosperity and good fortune will go out the door. If it is facing inwards, then they will come sailing in…
wow, you can actually hop on the “junk” and play with their wheels, wee~ so fun, tapi sunway pyramid tu jauh la >_<
Captain Ethan..Ahoy-hoy!
I love the junk too! At least it’s more unique and outstanding compared to normal CNY decorations..
the life size boat is super awesome
Wherever there is water, must be someone throw the coin into it >.<
By the way, Sam would be happy if can go on board to the ship :P
I like the art of this junk ship!! it’s amazing though!
