Improving toilet facilities around schools

Remember my post on Global Handwashing Day? In conjunction with Global Handwashing Day last October 15, I pledged to wash my hands with soap before eating via Lifebuoy’s FB page. Lifebuoy is a Unilever brand and one of the world’s leading germ-protection soap brands.

Lifebuoy targets to collect 50,000 pledges where Lifebuoy will donate RM10,000 to selected schools around Klang Valley to improve their toilet facilities. Not only did they manage to hit 50,000 pledges, Lifebuoy received an over-whelming 68,000 pledges during Global Hand Washing Day via Facebook page and on-ground. Lifebuoy has carried out social missions throughout the world aimed to enhance the awareness on the importance of washing hands before eating and now, selected schools around Klang Valley will benefit from it.

Clean hands, save lifes!

We should make this life-saving practice of washing hands a regular habit no matter how busy we are.

Wet, lather and rinse. Handwashing is as simple as A, B, C!

We are constantly in contact with germs. Do you know how many germs live on your cell phone?

Do you know that millions of germs live on keyboard?

Washing hands alone with water is not enough!

It’s significantly less effective than washing hands with soap. Washing hands with soap also leaves hands clean with pleasant smell.

Lifebuoy antibacterial handwash kills 99.9% germs in just 10 seconds.

Sharing is caring but germs are not for sharing.

Good to have hand wash habit and train the children since young. Lot of germs and sick bugs are coming from our hand.

It’ll be good to have these in schools! We didn’t have that back in our days. Nice work putting in in educational facilities. :)
