Nissan Almera on-the-road price and pictures

Darling is contemplating to get a new car for work use. His choices are between Honda City, Toyota Vios and the newly launched Nissan Almera. If he decides to get either one of those, it will be the FIRST time we are purchasing a non-national car! Our cars have always been from Proton and Perodua -.-

Almera’s on-the-road price definitely makes it a more attractive choice between Darling’s 3 choices.

From as low as RM66.8K, Almera will give Prevé  a run for its money.

Look wise, the Almera is not very sporty looking. Darling prefers Honda City but then again, there’s the price difference to ponder upon.

The Almera’s side profile. What do you think? *On-the-road price is not inclusive of the girl*

Someone’s getting rather comfortable in the boot! The last I checked, the kid is not included with any purchase neither…

Any valuable feedback before Darling make up his mind?

i prefer honda city as well…but damn!!! the price is really cheap for a nissan. Me and my colleagues were just talking about it in the morning. I wonder the performance worth to buy or not and i might consider. hmmm let me know if william test drive it

    • //

Eric, you can go test drive it yourself oso. Let’s go together-gether :D

I would suggest u get the Almera because:
    1) Almera is more of a family car, unlike Vios and City which look more ‘youth-like’. Big cabin and trunk, perfect for family.
    2) Fuel efficiency. The engine of Almera is tuned for fuel efficiency, but performance wise will lose Vios and City a bit…
    3) Refinement, smoothness and reliability has always been Nissan’s strong points, another reason why u should get this.
    4) Price! Cheaper than its rivals. Would suggest u to get at least ‘L’ variant since it has 2 airbags and better looking rims :)
    5) There’s too many Vios out there! XD

      WoW! That’s a very thorough response! :D

The only thing that is holding us back at the moment is that we havent test drive the Almera yet. City and Vios sudah.

‘L’ variant mahal weh to use as a work car…

      Ahahhahaha.. love your point #5!

  • //

Value of the car is depreciate anyway…. For me, no point buying an expenses car… May be Almera can be a good choice.

    • //

Yes, especially for work purposes right? Just to get you from Point A to Point B..

  • //

Very competitive price indeed, can’t wait for my test drive!

    • //

Ahh…. tell me all about it once you have driven it okay? :)

  • //

HAHAHAHA if inclusive of the girl i would have bought it! XDDDD

    • //

Hehe.. they will be selling like hot cakes won’t they? ^_^

  • //

hey..the pricing is not bad and nissan has a good reputation too! :)

  • //

Its a very good buy for the price for the specs offered. Definitely giving Vios and City a good run for their money.

  • //

hahah I got no idea about cars, If I wanna buy it, I will listen from the salesman that what is the strong point of the car.

    hi
almera is a good value buy for the price you are getting:
    1. proven japanese quality and reliability from NIssan
    2. low cost maintenance
    3. proven fuel economy wit aluminium alloy engine
    4. spaciousness you saw for yourself

well, why pay more for honda city and vios for similar?
no doubt honda is higher performance but with much higher price tag.
vios is a good car too at higher price…
then again you ask yourself what you want.

This almera is along the lines of the traditional nissan features of value for money; high fuel economy and low cost maintenance !

nothing to lose to get almera if you want a good reliable non national Japanese car.
