Ramadhan buffet : The Saujana Hotel

The Saujana Hotel is just a stone’s throw away from my house. Okay, maybe we’ll need a little bit more than just a stone, perhaps 20 stones will do :D

During the Ramadhan month last year, we were invited to dine at this prestigious hotel. We enjoyed our meal by the poolside very much. The food, ambiance, traditional performances and live stations serving varieties of local delicacies made us feel warm all over. Read more about it here.

This year, we are honoured to be invited again to preview the hotel’s Aneka Citarasa 7 Periuk, an International feast by 7 Chefs for the coming Ramadhan month.

Saujana Hotel Ramadhan buffet

Before I go on, I MUST say that the first thing I did when I arrived is to get their Buah Kurma and also mata kucing. I remembered fondly last year I enjoyed their sweet buah kurma very much and the mata kucing is simply juicy and extremely sweet too. Thank goodness they still have them both this year! :D

Their pulut durian is also another must have. Fragrant and thick, this is so satisfying I had to close my eyes to breathe in the tantalizing sensation from each bite!

I took a dive into their kuih station too. I’m all about local kuihs whenever I joined my Malay friends berbuka puasa. My friends will march to the main dishes but I will make my way straight to the dessert counter as I just can’t resist local kuih-muih.

The main attraction at any Ramadhan buffet spread, the roast lamb is always a favourite.

For those in search of delectable local delights, a series of stalls serving roast lamb, satay, Sarawak bamboo chicken, lemang and many more local favourites will definitely appease your appetite.

Ethan’s favourite is the Italian stall because that boy live eating spaghetti, remember? :)

Anywhere we go, he’ll only ask for one thing – spaghetti -.-

I on the other hand, is fascinated with their Japanese Chef Minami because he can speak Bahasa Malaysia! I could not believe my ears when he spoke to me in BM!

Oh yeah, their satay here is to die for too! The meat is very tender and well marinated I had mostly satay that evening.

Auntie Belle’s Nyonya Laksa is sure to make you salivate for more.

There are so much more food that I just can’t upload all of them here. This lavish dinner buffet is priced at RM98++ for adults and RM49++ for children between 6 and 12.
