The new Samsung GALAXY S3

Inspired by nature, designed for humans. Samsung GALAXY S III’s minimal and organic design is reflected in its smooth and non-linear lines of the device. What attracts me more is the soothing graphic and ring tones, bringing us back to nature.

Samsung GALAXY S III was launched in Malaysia yesterday.

launched in Malaysia

We were privileged to get the opportunity to fiddle, play and do anything almost anything with the new Samsung Galaxy SIII.

Girls being girls, the first thing that attracts us is definitely the camera feature. We toyed with it, making monkey faces to see if indeed it can beautify a monkey and WHOA lo and behold, it really does!
Camera function

See! Monkey has never looked so beautiful :P

What we were doing in the picture above is trying out the SMILE function. In SMILE mode, the camera works automatically without us having to do a single thing. The camera will detect its subject(s) and only when all the subjects are smiling will it automatically CAPTURE a picture. How smart is that?

As shown in the picture above, the monkey me and Jess are not smiling.

And then Jess started to smile but the camera still did not capture us. Only when I smile together with Jess, the Samsung Galaxy S3 camera automatically captures our image. We both went “WHOA!” *jakun mode to the max!*

price

For us girls, the front camera is VERY IMPORTANT as you know, we girls tend to camwhore A LOT! I love the many features available for the front camera of this Galaxy SIII. Too bad the BURST mode is not available for the front camera or else it would be fun to make monkey faces while getting a burst shot of us!

Smart Stay feature

Another feature that impresses my lazy fingers is the smart stay. See that eye? That eye SEES us. The screen stays lit the entire time our eyes are on the screen and will only rest when we do. That means I do not have to keep on tapping on the screen to get the lights to lit up again and again.. *lagi lah fat my lazy fingers* ^_^

For those of you macam saya who always have more than 5 folders open in one go on your PC, you’ll love the pop out play feature in this Galaxy SIII. The display in display enables you to watch your favourite movie and browse or do anything in that additional display. You can now multi-task LIKE A BOSS! Or should I say like an employee? >_<

Now, one feature I totally dislike in the Samsung Galaxy SIII is the S Voice. I hate Samsung Galaxy S3’s version of Siri in S Voice because … S Voice can tell the weather in KL while Siri CAN’T! S Voice is localized while Siri doesn’t understand a thing I say!! S VOICE responds to my instruction while Siri keeps telling me “Sorry I can only look for businesses in the United States” each time I asked for anything local!!

Argh!!! S VOICE why are you so responsive? I hate you S VOICE! >_< *dumps my apple into the trash can* *picks it up again after realizing I still am not done paying for the monthly installment” -.-

Nevermind, my birthday is not too far away and by then I think Darling would have completed paying for that apple of mine. I shall print this post and frame it up for him to see so he’ll know what to get for me this year :D
