Angry Bird #bodohpunyabuku
We did not go anywhere after Ethan’s class today. It was raining on and off the entire day that I got so lazy to go out. We stayed home and did sand art instead.
Sand art can be rather messy so I got him to take off his shirt and pants. He still has his underwear ON okay? :P My neck went stiff *not forgetting the sore butt* after sitting there with him the entire hour waiting for him to complete the sand art -.-
Then I let him have an hour of dipping in the bath tub while I scrub the toilet. Maid mode to the max!
By the time he is all clean and fresh it is already evening. We went to the night market in SS2 yesterday and I got him this.
Angry Bird activity book.
RM2. He loves Angry Bird and I thought RM2, what the heck, just buy-lah!
Then he started reading out loud, TWO Car, THREE Bicycle and asked, “Mommy, why 2 Car and not carS? Why 3 bicycle, not 3 bicycleS?” #bodohpunyabuku
I’ve always emphasized on the “S” for plurals so now he’s questioning me. Trying not to confuse him, I explained that the word BICYCLE and CAR are merely to name the pictures -.-
But they HAD to have THIS – 12 hat BUT 13 eyeglassES!
Elo! NOW Ethan questions me further, “Mommy, why HERE is 13 eyeglasses??!! but 12 hat and not hats?” I dunno my son, the book is simply #bodohpunyabuku
I did not even realised this but Ethan asked me again, “Mommy, TEN PENCIL! Where are the pencils? I see SHOES!”
Okay, I give up! RM2 #bodohpunyabuku is making my blood boil!
As I was about to fling the book like how they fling the birds, we came to this page – Nine coffee.
Coffee is uncountable lah sayang! OMG! #bodohpunyabuku
But thank goodness for the final page, nothing went wrong. Ethan did them effortlessly and I’m so loving his handwriting now :D
I’m so NOT going to buy books from Pasar Malam anymore! #bodohpunyabuku

HAHAHA! Omg this is such a cute angry post!! #bodohpunyabuku kekeke!
yur boy is so smart to notice the lil mistake (oo…rephrase-…u are a very good and hardworking teacher. I hardly teach my boys to read, hehehe..
Y THE BOOK SO ‘STUPIDS’ ONE? WAKAKAKAKA… U have a very smart boy! :)
LOL!!! There’s Angry Birds in my post today too… These “Tu-lan ciao” are everywhere…
Hahah! That truly is bodoh punya buku. At least it tested how smart Ethan is! ;)
muahahah… see a lesson here is… cheap books don’t come with the ‘quality’.. furthermore it’s from the pasar malam! next time flip through first la.. LOL! But smart Ethan pointed out the mistakes.. BRAVO!
LOL. Those questions you need to answer is just so boiling.
This sentence really cracked me up -> “As I was about to fling the book like how they fling the birds”
Moral of the story: Never buy #bodohpunyabuku from pasar malam. XD
WHAT? the book seem like cheat kids only.. Now, the kids very clever one
LOL, no wonder you said bodohpunyabuku…. kekekke :P
wahahaha clever Ethan that can highlight all the mistake in that book.
Normally I will just buy the colouring book with sticker inside from Pasar Malam, I never buy the activity book. hahahaha, “bodohpunyabuku.”
Oh dear.. I can understand your frustration! This kind of books definitely not good for kids!
Aahahhah….i have that #bodohpunyabuku too ,which Ethel asked me to buy for her..Bought at SS2 pasar malam and RM2 also!! LOL!!
Look at the bright side : Ethan is an intelligent boy who can spot the grammar mistakes.
Very proud of him.. and Merryn : you are a very good mum and teacher… really respect you.
This pasar malam mass production products is really bad. I still remember when my son was
much younger, we bought for him a pair of teletubbies sandal and t-shirt. Either the character has wrong color or wrong symbols which is different from the original cartoon character. No
quality check at all and confuse people. It is good that you highlighted this to us, truly appreciate it :)
buat nak untung je ni..
The author might be drunk over too much coffeeses..haha..
Hey, this book is meant to make people angry one ma.. Angry Birds become Angry Moms! hahaha…
you have a very sharp boy there. bravo!
Hahaha..that’s so funny. Just out to earn money only this kind of books. Tsk tsk tsk.
But your son Ethan is really one hardworking boy lar. Yesterday, I had to take care of my kids because the babysitter was sick. So I gave my girl some BM work to do. She hated it and was so reluctant to do. Sigh.
*roll eyes* RM2 is not cheap oso. I bought some Chinese books for Chloe (good quality story books with beautiful illustrations) from the Popular clearance sale recently… baru RM1 each! :p
LOL Errrr… maybe the purpose of the book is for the kids to spot the mistakes? hahaha
when it came to the 10 pencil picture, the black angry bird has a question mark. hahahah. for the coffee picture, the angry bird looks like it was glaring at the mistake! XD
