Sometimes, being DOWN is good.

A couple of days ago , Blogger went down for an hour for maintenance purposes. Most of us were in our work place then. It’s interesting to see how barely a minute after Blogger went down, FB and Twitter were flooded with horrified bloggers’ updates of not being able to log into Blogger. I was in the office too then and was wondering WHAT TO DO during that ONE hour. Should I spend that time WORKING? Muahahahahha… my boss is so gonna kill me!
During that ONE hour on the 12th May, we had our ‘Blogger’s Hour’ where we were forced to ‘switch off’ from blogging; be it posting a new article to blog hopping and commenting, we could not do all those. Just like Earth Hour, that ONE hour came and go easily without much effect on us.
Then yesterday, Blogger went down again. This time, it went down for almost the entire day. Some of us experienced ‘Blogger’s withdrawal’ symptoms, walking around like chickens with their heads cut off. Suddenly, time stood still. We could hear the clock ticking; a drop of a pin would have stunned us! Hahaha.. yeah, we finally had our eyes off the PC and discovered that we had no where to look at! :P
I decided to do something I should have done long ago, keeping myself busy with housework! So I went to -maid mode- and slaved until evening.
I boiled soya bean too, something that I’ve not done for a very long time!
Come evening, Darling came home early. I was surprised to see him home so early. He told me to freshen up and brought us out for pizza and spaghetti for dinner. I really enjoyed that as we never get to indulge during weekdays but yesterday, Darling made it a point to bring us out as he knew I was ‘offline’ the entire day! :D
Night time, instead of sitting in front of PC blogging, I just chat and catch up on old times with my friends. It was a relaxing night and I went to bed happy eventhough Blogger was still down then.
Today, blogger.com is back in business and to most of us, life is back to routine. I’m back blogging but now I know, it won’t be that bad IF blogger decides to go for maintenance again! :P

WordPress was ok…but few people came to comment. Maybe without the link in their blogroll, they do not know the url! Tsk! Tsk! People today are sooooo useless, so technology-dependent!

Haha 'Blogger's withdrawal' and hopefully not getting cold turkey and gave up blogging or got kick out of the BA *Bloggers Anonymous* Club. On second thought it is also good things that was left undone was done immediately. Would wait for heavy rain and thunder to iron my clothes coz that's the time my internet would be off. So if no thunder or rain no shirt & pant to wear lolz.
