IpohIpoh and an Ipoh dude makes it Ipoh-licious!

I’ve dined at IpohIpoh so many times now. It became my favourite joint after I’ve experienced ‘food orgasm‘ from their words can’t describe famous Assam Laksa! Read about it here.
After our first time at IpohIpoh, we went back for more and we had Fu Chuk Yu Mai, Strawberry Vanilla Smoothie, Ipoh Hor Fun, Nasi Lemak and Chicken Burger. Read about that here.
Just the other day, we went back to IpohIpoh again. This time we brought along a guest and he’s a famous blogger from Ipoh!
Can you guess who this famous blogger from Ipoh is? :P
I think we tried almost everything! We actually wanted to see if there is any one dish that we could ‘criticize’ but obviously we were wrong for we loved everything we tried! Talk about rave reviews!
The big boy had iced kopi Cincau -RM5.60- I don’t know how this tastes like as I don’t take coffee but from what he said, this is delicious!
That famous Ipoh blogger had iced lemon tea -RM4.80-
Ethan had chocolate milkshake -RM6.90- and this is super delicious! It’s smooth and rich and everything nice! I’ll definitely come back for more of this!
I had this sour plum lemonade -RM6.50- This is another of their signature drink and I love it! Very refreshing indeed!
We tried the new item on the menu, sambal fried rice. Not bad but I personally think that IpohIpoh’s forte lies in their noodle dishes. I’ve tried their rice dishes and though they are delicious, they are not something that I can tell you, “Hey, you must go to IpohIpoh to try their rice!” BUT, I’ll certainly tell you to go to IpohIpoh to try their noodles! The Assam Laksa is a MUST try! And so are the rest of the noodles…
Such as this curry noodle -RM10.80-  This aromatic ingredient-rich curry noodles is such a comfort to have on a cold evening. Definitely an outstanding dish!
Or you may want to try their prawn noodles -RM10.80- The soup has a very strong flavour to it that I just could not stop sipping it! I love the flavorful and fragrant soup, it makes eating the noodles such a pleasure! :D
We tried the Chee Cheong Fun too -RM8.80- A popular Ipoh dish that is similar to rice kuey teow, the generous amount of mushroom is heavenly! Ethan’s favourite!
We ordered Chicken ham and egg sandwich too -RM6.80-
And tried their bread sticks with kaya -RM3.00- The kaya is very nice but I find it awkward eating this as I’ve always preferred to have butter to go with kaya and toast :D It would be better if the bread sticks come with butter as it will be more fragrant but then again, bread sticks are like that what! tsk tsk.. Merryn.. Merryn… *shake head*

So who was our guest that evening?
What better way to enjoy Ipoh food if not with an Ipoh dude – Ken Wooi :P
