Amazing! I can see the Peninsula from Merlion Park!

From the moment we did the passport for Ethan, he knew he’ll be going to Singapore. He doesn’t know much about Singapore except The Merlion and that has been his focus from Day 1 touching down Sin City!
On our fourth day in Singapore we finally decided to take a slow walk to Merlion Park.
Look to the right: The Merlion
There~lah Mummy! I wanna go there! Can~ah?!
Look to the left: The Sands SkyPark, Marina Bay
OK, so we walk slow-slow to The Merlion. Darn HOT I tell YOU!

Tah-dah! Merlion Park a.k.a Taman Merlion
Hmm… apa pasat me tak pergi to Lau Pa Sat?! Nvm..
Finally he gets to see the Merlion up close! :D
I caught Darling paying more attention to those four ladies there… Hmm.. somebody wanna get spanked! :P

Different angle shots of The Merlion
The Merlion (Malay: Singa-Laut) is an imaginary creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish used as a mascot of Singapore. Its name combines “mer” meaning the sea and “lion”. The fish body comes from Singapore’s ancient name back when it was a fishing village – Temasek – meaning “sea town” in Javanese. The lion head represents Singapore’s original name – Singapura – meaning “lion city” or “kota singa”.
Baby Merlion for the little ones :D
I lived in Singapore since born until K1. I have no recollection of what Singapore was except for the Merlion. Ethan remembers Singapore very well until today because it is still fresh in his mind. He browsed my blog frequently to view back where and what he has done in Singapore. I hope when he grows up, he’ll remember more than just The Merlion. I hope he remembers us having a great time as a family in Singapore :D
That’s it for our day in the Merlion Park.
Oh yeah, before I end this post, can you believe it that we can actually see the Peninsula from the Merlion Park? Simply amazing I tell you! I even managed to catch it on camera!
