Malacca likes them BIG!

So Malacca is boasting that their latest installment, the Jusco–Aeon Bandaraya Melaka will be the biggest in Asia. Ever since then, everything from Malacca has got to be BIG! During my parent’s recent trip up to my place, they brought along a ‘humongous’ mango. One quick look, Darling thought it was a papaya (as it was loosely wrapped in newspaper).

Can you see how BIG it is? It’s longer than the normal 15cm ruler. Ethan can’t carry it.. :P

I can’t peel it as it is too big for my hands. My mom did the peeling and cutting though her hands are more or less my size. Maybe she has better grip!

My mom told me to write in my blog that she has wide waistline and that she deliberately hold the mango that way (in Pic 1) to show you guys how BIG that mango is :)

Though I usually love to nibble and suck the seed, for THIS mango, I let my mom have it. We had a whale of a time laughing our heads off when I showed her *cough cough* how *ehem* ‘vulgar’ she looked like sucking the seed!

I laughed until I had tears in my eyes.. Sigh, I missed having my parents around!

Where did they get it from? From their own tree or bought it some where. Looks very juicy. Mango is one of smallkucing and mine favourite fruits :)

Yo all, the mango is hand-plucked from a neighbour's tree. It's very sweet and juicy. Very very nice :)
