What do rhinocerous eat?
I taught Ethan on animals and what they eat sometime back. He knows what frog, roaches, giraffe, elephant, birds, cats and many more common animals eat.
And then, he started playing with more ‘sophisticated‘ animals. Today, he asked me, “Rhino eat what?”, “Hippo eat what?”. I was dumb folded as I do not know the answer. I was not online that moment so I can’t google for answers. I quickly sms 3 people deemed ‘genius’ to me.
#1 genius – Irene. I sms her because she was the one who gave Ethan the Elmo DVD that prompted him to ask me these questions.
Her reply? “I went zoo the other day, I saw rhino eating grass wor”
Moral of the story – Going to the zoo makes you smart. So start packing and visit the zoo nearest to you today!
#2 genius – Kymberly. I sms her because she is a teacher. No doubt she is a music teacher, but as long as you have that ‘teacher’ title before your name, you are suppose to be a little genius no matter what…
Her reply? “Well just see the body shape of the animals… They are lazy bums! Well I get clue from their chinese names. One’s a river horse and the other is a cow. So must be herbivors la“
Moral of the story – A teacher is always a genius one way or the other!
#3 genius – Kimmy. I sms him because he IS super genius. He has the answer to almost anything, I tell you.
He replied without a sweat…”Grass and plants lar“
No moral of this story but the fact is, a genius is always a genius and this dude is a good example of a walking dictionary!
What’s my point here? The fact that those 3 can answer me without a sweat prove just how ‘smart’ or rather, ‘unsmart‘ I am. I’m sure I’ll face many more questions from Ethan now that he is in that – Why this, What’s that -stage. I think I have lots of ‘smartness’ to catch up on.. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go ‘smartify‘ myself! @@
