We were lucky to be invited to Casa del Rio Melaka Open House last Saturday. Darling, Ethan and I woke up really early in the morning and began our journey down south. We took the North-South Highway and exited at Ayer Keroh Toll Plaza. Drove another 15 minutes or so and here we are at the Quay Side overlooking Casa del Rio! :D Located on Jalan Kota Laksamana, the hotel is a literal two minute […]

Malacca River Cruise

We were in Malacca last weekend and this time I did not just stay home. I ‘toured’ the city :D We met up with Carol and Eric and started planning what to do. I tell you, being a Malaccan, I’m the BEST person to get opinion of where to go, what to do and eat in Malacca! My answer is always an almost immediate, “DUNNO” LoL! What can I say? I seldom go out jalan-jalan […]

World’s Tallest Indoor Tube Slide

We went to Empire Mall for the very first time a couple of days ago. I needed to look for something but couldn’t find it in the end. What we did discover however was… This! The world’s tallest indoor tube slide! Aiyayayaya! My knees went wobbly just looking at it! This is the ‘launching’ platform.. No turning back once you’re tossed out of that hole! All the way down, down, down and down. Four-storey down! […]

It is situated just after the Ayer Keroh Toll Plaza from North South Expressway. We took a buggy from the resort to the Butterfly farm. Kimmy feasting on crickets :P The first thing we did upon entering was to feed the monkeys bananas followed by feeding the iguanas life […]

Philea Resort & Spa, Ayer Keroh, Melaka

We spent an unforgettable weekend at Philea Resort & Spa, the largest and biggest log resort in Malaysia recently. Located in fast developing Ayer Keroh, Melaka and wholly owned by Majestic Hotels & Resorts Sdn Bhd; they invested RM140 million for a total of 15 acres of luxury living and relaxation. “Philea was built utilizing natural resources. The resources are Malaysian-made; using 8,000 pieces of disused railway sleepers for staircases, more than 6,000 tons of […]

It has been almost a decade since the last time Darling and I stepped foot in Genting. We have always wanted to go back there again but has always been procrastinating. Last week we ‘planned’ of going but was never really serious about it. Then on Sunday Ethan woke up really early prompting me to shove Darling out of bed and get ready. Singapore River Cruise

When we visited Merlion Park, Ethan requested to ride on the River Cruise but we were in a rush to somewhere else that we had to decline his request. However in the evening, with slightly over 2 hours to go before boarding our flight, we made a quick dash for the Singapore River Cruise. Unfortunately for us, when we arrived Merlion Park we were told that there will be no boat available until at least […]

Sands SkyPark, Marina Bay Singapore

Designed by the renowned architect Moshe Safdie, the three-towered hotel has over 2500 rooms, a casino, an indoor canal and a museum among other grand attractions. But the highlight of this luxury resort is its infinity pool on the roof of the boat-shaped ‘SkyPark’ perched atop the […]

Horror in Singapore Night Safari

The first day we were in Singapore, we spent half a day resting in our hotel room. In the evening, we waited anxiously at the lobby of our hotel for the Fun Vee Hopper to take us to the Tourist Hub at the Singapore Flyer to validate our Night Safari ticket. After validating our tickets, they took us to the Night Safari… The Fun Vee Hopper that took us to the Night Safari and back […]

Rabbit Fun Land, Broga

City folks live a life full of stress. If you are willing to go a distance of about a half-hour drive out of the Klang Valley, you’ll discover a fun petting land in Broga just outside of Kajang town. Unlike the old days when the winding road will guarantee to give you motion sickness, the newly constructed road will give you a feeling of calm and serenity while driving pass Nottingham University campus and then […]
