How to make the perfect half-boiled egg

I love half-boiled eggs, don’t you? I like it with some soy-sauce, pepper and sometimes fried onions! Really! To be eaten with toast, yums! Drool! I can easily make the PERFECT half-boiled egg as I have this.. Eggmatic. 99.9% of my eggs turned out PERFECT! Once in a blue moon when the eggs are either a little too big or too small, the result is not so desirable but it is still okay. Last week, [...]

Daily Fresh : My favourite Corn in a Cup

I’m very choosy when it comes to corn in a cup. I’ve tried so many out there and nothing beats the one I get from Daily Fresh. But having said that, not ALL corn from Daily Fresh outlet is good. I particularly dislike the one in Sunway Pyramid (nearby Brands Outlet) because of the way they prepare the corn. Instead of mixing the corn and butter in a separate pot, they just scooped some corn [...]

He loves pau~s, me hotdogs…

It’s a known fact that Darling loves pau(s) while I love hotdogs. It doesn’t sound right there but it’s true! Maybe his Chinese roots played a part in his obsession with pau while my ‘western’ upbringing made me love sausages like it’s the best thing in the world! Still.. it doesn’t sound right! @_@ The best pau we ever had was from D’sara Uptown. I forgot the name of the restaurant but it’s really NICE! [...]

Restaurant Brother Yat

How was your Father’s Day celebration? Good food, good company? Darling and I did not go anywhere fancy for Father’s Day as we thought that this special day has been too commercialised these days. But not too long ago, we managed to have a great dinner with good friends @ Brother Yat Subang Jaya. When we first arrived there, lots of question marks appeared in my head. I’ve heard of this place as it is [...]

Asia Cafe Kota Damansara

My friends on FB know that I frequent Asia Cafe @ Kota Damansara often. They asked me what is so good there. Well, I must say the playground there is a factor. It keeps Ethan entertained. But it could be a headache to some parents when their kids refuse to eat because of the playground! Playground aside, the major reason why I patronised Asia Cafe so often is because of their drinks I don’t normally take [...]

Fish with fruity sauce

Ethan loves fried fish. I can just fry a fish and throw some browned garlic on top and he’ll finish the whole thing easily. I fried fish again today.. And when I looked at it I feel so sad! LoL! So pitiful right my fish? So I decided to do something with it. I rummaged through my fridge and unfortunately I don’t have many things in it. I found strawberries, green apples, carrots and cherry [...]
