Book Giveaway: Guinness World Records 2019

What have I been reading? No, it’s not the WHALE book. I stopped reading that book midway as my heart can’t accept how absurd everything is. I have a simple mind. I can’t digest complicated matters.

I prefer something straight to the point. I love books with lots of graphics and my favourite book distributor – Pansing knows exactly just that. They have recently sent me a copy of Guinness World of Records 2019. YES! The world’s most popular record book is back!

They are currently running a promotion from 15 Sep onwards in Malaysia – Buy a copy of GWR 2019 Annual and get a mist-spray water bottle for free.

This promotion is valid at Popular, MPH and Times bookstores while stocks last.

So I got my GWR 2019 Annual as well as the mist-spray water bottle. In addition, I also got the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2019.

The Guinness World Record 2019 book is full of new records and photos from around the globe.

Besides the many eye-popping world records, they have topics relevant to the younger generations included such as Instagram and YouTube records, blockbusters, Top of the Pops, Minecrafts and more.

They also have a fun DO IT AT HOME record on pages 242 to 247 of the GWR Annual book.

I love these DO IT AT HOME pages the most as I can actually get them done with the boys at home.

We can’t wait to learn making balloon dogs but first I must get hold of some balloons.

This year’s GWR book features a section dedicated to “Maker” movement; recognizing those who design and build super-sized items such as the largest yoyo, the tallest toothpick sculpture and the fastest jet-powered go-kart! The book is 255 pages thick. We haven’t finish reading them but I have good news to share with you.

WE ARE GIVING AWAY ONE SET OF GWR BOOKS!

The set includes:
GWR2019 Annual – From planets and human marvels to videogaming and Instagram, Guinness World Records 2019 is packed with thousands of new and updated records.
GWR Gamers – From the global authority on record-breaking comes the 12th edition of the world’s best-selling gaming annual.
Wild Things! – Guinness World Records: Wild Things takes you on a superlative safari around the globe, revealing the best of the beasts! Meet the natural world’s largest, smallest, fastest, deadliest – and just plain oddest – creatures and find out what records they hold.

All you need to do to be in the running to win a set of GWR books is drop a comment by midnight, 7th October 2018

Pansing Distribution Pte Ltd will select a winner and contact him/her to deliver the books right to your doorstep.

This contest is open to all our readers located in Malaysia only.

I always love watching Guinness World of Records cos it really tell us that each and everyone in the world are special and unique. There are something that we can do beyond our limits and different from others. By GWR, many talents are discovered and people are able to prove themselves that they are not weird or alone but they are people with special ability.

I like to read Guiness World of records and I bet my kids enjoy browsing through the amazing records.

I always the bookworm person and intrigued by what others could achieve and challenge themselves in.

Hope to get one as a gift for my kids especially my girl who just finished her UPSR and like me, loves to read and learn more.

Definitely the best present for my son. He will be very excited if he can get a copy of this book.

Oh boy oh boy, my boy will love this! Hope to win this for both my kids to read after their exams. They are currently having year-end exams now. Everyday reading textbook and workbook is so boring. Read Guiness World of Records is much better! Plus I didn’t know there was a GWR Gamers. The boy will think that is even more cool. lol The girl will probably be more keen on the Guiness World of Records original as she is the inquisitive kind. Keeping fingers crossed for this. Wonder if there will be a GWR for the longer fingers crossed…..

Wow!!! I want! I want! I used to buy these Guinness World of Records when I was younger in my 20s. Now a matured uncle, it is still good to read as we need to learn from our Cradle to Graves. Knowledge improve one’s wisdom and good knowledge has no expiry dates. I need to get updated always and this Guinness World of Records have the best information compiled with colourful illustrations, fabulous photos and important facts to make them a reading pleasure for all ages!

Off topic now, you could not read “The Whale Book” but I am afraid Najib might find his way into the Guinness World of Records for being the biggest kleptocracy case ever in this world. That makes our country famous again for all the wrong reasons. Malaysia Boleh!

Oct 7th is my daughter’s birthday. This is a perfect birthday gift for her. GWR will certainly become her eye opener. She loves to read. She can read while eating breakfast. She can read while waiting at a queue. Psst… she even brings a book to read in the toilet!
