OK Boss. Relax lah!

Try talking to my boys these days and chances are you’ll hear them say, “OK Boss!” or “Relax lah….” all thanks to these two TONGS the Daddy got for free upon purchasing some hair products during a roadshow last weekend

I thought these TONGs are cute but I don’t know what they really are actually. Are they supposed to be paper bins or should I use them in the kitchen? But now that the boys are answering everything with “OK Boss!” and “Relax lah… ” I get quite annoyed already 8-O

I tell you one thing that I’ve been keeping in my heart for a few weeks. Several weeks ago, I received an offer for a sponsored trip abroad. Obviously I got quite excited lah cause it is not always we get a sponsored trip to go over the laut right? But here’s the thing. It is a media trip and I can’t bring the boys.

How did I respond to that? I thanked them politely for the opportunity but declined immediately without even consulting Darling. Sigh. I really wanted to go YET I don’t want to. Am I even making sense here? Haih…

Anyway, my point is, I started blogging (that time no Facebook) to keep me connected with others while mothering my child(ren). In other words, to make giving up my job to be a stay at home mom more bearable and not lose touch with the outside world.

My policy remains the same from day one I started blogging until today, that blogging is a hobby and family comes first. So to make my heart feel better, I told Darling he better bring us go holiday somewhere since I already turned down this offer.

This is my face ->  This is his face ->

Haha! I am sure his answer is “ok, boss”.

If I were you, I would do the same thing too. Family first. ^^

LOLOL Your kids are so cute and could easily imitate the slogans. Kids are much smarter these days compared to my time. Must be the good food & educational exposure nowadays.
I really salute you for making a tough decision to decline the good offer to travel.

One professor in Japan invited me to submit my name to one regional Tourism Board in Japan to do daily update for 45 days. The offer was too tempting but my dad was dying at that time. I didn;t want to regret after all I have visited Japan so many times. I overcame my greed to put priority to my family instead, besides my boss may not allow me to be away for too long. My died really died that month itself.

Wow, that is indeed a tempting offer but circumstances did not allow you to accept it then. Maybe you’ll get such opportunity again one of these days. I’m sure you will :)
