  Similar to yours except mine is vertical. Not horizontal like yours. Yours is interesting as can store the fruit back in. Lol. I usually peel and keep the fruit in sealed container in the fridge.

    I used to keep in sealed container too until I saw my sister-in-law doing this. Anyway, pomelos dont last long at my place. We are all crazy over it hence they’ll be gone after several hours. So storing it like this is less hassle, no need to wash container :D

  I love to eat sweet pomeloes too! Tomorrow I have to peel 3 biji and use some to eat with my Yee Sang at home. I will add in some sliced pears and abalone mushrooms too since my wife loathes raw fishes. Thanks for sharing this video otherwise I would be sweating and cutting my fingers too! LOLOL

    LoL! Why cut your fingers lah. I like to cut this way as it is easy to store the remaining pomelos. I learnt this technique from my sister-in-law :D

  I am the one who is tasked to cut pomelo at home. It is always me and I like cutting it. The way I cut off a bit of the top and then cut a few vertical lines straight down all the way to near the bottom and peel the sides away to get the fruit out. I forgot who taught me to do it this way but I did a google search and this link http://www.wikihow.com/Peel-a-Pomelo also shows it that way.

  I think your way is much better since you can store the fruit back into the skin.
