A party while we were away…

We left the house for 7 days and returned to a warm welcome of a cockroach party. cockroach-trap

You see, I laid around 4 of these cockroach traps around the kitchen and the washroom downstairs before leaving the house for our vacation.

I did not know what to expect when we returned but when I checked.. OMG! There was a lizard stuck in the trap and apparently the cockroaches were nibbling on it as the lizard’s bones are exposed. Those cockroaches ended up getting glued to the trap too. There were at least 2-3 roaches in each trap that was laid out.

Obviously I dared not touch the trap anymore and had to get Darling to do the clean-up. He picked up all four traps and disposed them into a plastic bag.

So this is what cockroaches do while we were away… Sigh.

I immediately mopped the entire house and wiped all tables and chairs eventhough I was dead tired after our long holiday :roll:

I get nausea when i saw that lizard, the most frightening “animal” in the world for me i have this lizard/cockroach trap too ..

Eeeeewww! How I love and hate those traps. ^^

Usually after a long holiday, I would mop the floor when I am back. No matter what. Hahaha.

Yikes! I would not dare to dispose them too so that is why I never dare to set traps.

Grossss. Perhaps get those gel type. The ones they eat or touch will get unwell. At least they return home and die there.

I am shy to confess that being a 6 footer man, I fear cockroaches the most. I had seen ghosts many times and they don’t scare or disturb me like cockroaches!!! Urgh!
