Ethan’s Update
Hi all, do you remember Ethan? LoL. I know I have not been updating much about him these days as he has been very busy with school stuffs and activities. He goes to school early in the morning, comes home in the afternoon for lunch. Then up to his room for homework, coming down for tea and then off to the playground for an hour or two of football with the neighbourhood kids. He also has to squeeze piano, drum and taekwondo in his already hectic schedule.
But all that is over now as the 2016 academic year has come to an end. It is time to relax and enjoy the holidays.
We went to collect his report card earlier this week.
The daddy and I are proud of him not because he came in top in his class but because he survived Chinese school single-handedly. I can’t help him as I don’t speak, read nor write Chinese. The daddy can speak but is horrible in reading and writing.
This morning was the prize presentation in school.
Here is Ethan with his trophy for being top in his class.
And this is Ethan for being in the 4th position in the entire class.
Ethan with the all the Top Ten students. I blurred the faces of other students as I did not get the permission from their parents to post this up here.
Not too long ago they had a football tournament and their team won too.
Ethan and his football team mates.
Next year will be a whole new journey as Ethan will be separated from most of his current classmates. They streamed students according to their result this year and I heard not many will remain together with Ethan. But one good thing is his good friend will be in the same class as he is. At least he is happy about that.
That’s about it. It’s time to put away the books and let the holiday begin!
Yes! Lets the holiday begins.
Time for Ethan to rest and enjoy his childhood.
Well done again, Ethan. You make mummy and daddy proud. I also not good with Chinese. Can speak but not fluent, read and write simple words. Not much of a help for my kids but glad with tuition and their own effort, they survived.
Congrats, Ethan and keep up the good work.
Congrats to Ethan for such a good result! He deserves a good holiday! :)
Congrats, Ethan. Good boy! Keep up the good work. What plans for the holidays? Mummy taking you some place?
Well done to Ethan! Keep up the good work. He did very well on his own without any tuition classes.
I am glad that you take pride in him surviving Chinese. It will be worth it…
Congrats to Ethan! Way to go!
Congratulations on the super duper good result, well done Ethan!
Sam’s result this semester is not as good as last semester, me really no eye see >_<
I would say a Big CONGRATULATIONS to Ethan and his proud parents too!
I wish I could read and write Mandarin too. Your son will have a very bright future!
