The NEST Hotel, Bali
It has been two weeks since our family trip to Bali. Am already missing Bali tremendously. I can’t believe how affordable it is to hire a private driver to bring us around in Bali. I really enjoyed our leisurely self-customised tour in Bali. It was relaxing as we get to decide where to go according to our own sweet time. You can read all about it here -> Places to visit in Bali for first timers.
I tried sourcing for a private driver in Thailand but oh me, oh my, it is so expensive! Anybody has any good guide in Thailand to recommend, please oh please, can you PM me?
Anyway, for the first two nights in Bali, we stayed at this really new place – The NEST Bali Hotel. I made a booking 3 months prior to our trip. It is still in its soft opening stage so I got myself a good rate around IDR598,950/night. This rate is not available anymore at the time of my writing this post. You’ll have to check their website for their latest promotion.

We arrived late evening and upon checking-in, we were delighted to find that we were upgraded to their suite.
This is our suite.
It comes with a bathtub that the boys enjoyed splashing in since their infinity pool is not ready. It is still in their soft opening stage, remember?
The bathroom is huge making it easy for me to clean up the kids.Â
They even have shower-rain head with strong water pressure.Â
The toiletries provided are toothbrush, comb, razor, vanity kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, 2-in-1 shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and sewing kit.Â
Complimentary drinking bottled water and coffee and tea making facilities.Â
Fridge with drinks and snacks.
Luckily the boys were obedient and not eat or drink anything from here or I’ll just get the hotel to charge it to their savings accountÂ
Wardrobe, in-house safe and slippers.
There are two TV sets in our suite. The remote control is with Chinese characters which I find strange Â
The TV in the living room belongs to Ethan…
While the other one in the room belongs to this little boss..Â
This is the 55″ LED TV in our room.Â
We rang the housekeeping to help us convert the sofa in the living room into a bed for Ethan.Â
Freshly made all nice and cozy for Ethan. Ayden slept with us here.Â
We checked out of this hotel after staying for 2 days and proceeded to a resort nearby where the kids have their own room and Ayden gets to sleep on his own bed as we are done sight-seeing and will be spending all our time in the resort with Kids Club facilities.Â
They have a beautiful rooftop restaurant where we have our daily breakfasts. They are also open for lunch and dinner.
This is my breakfast. The chef makes superb sunny side up that I had it on both days we were here while the boys had something else from the buffet spread.Â
This is our ride and driver that has done a great job chauffeuring us around Bali the past two days. I’ll definitely use his service again should I make another trip to Bali. I am sure I will return as there are many more of Bali we have yet to explore. As the saying goes, “once is never enough when it comes to Bali”.
As the saying goes, “once is never enough when it comes to Bali” … Whose saying is this? I have never come across this saying before… XD
Soft launch, if you tell them you are blogger, you might even get to stay for free leh…
Was that William at the reception counter? Hmmmm….
Lovely hotel room. I love a clean, comfy and functional hotel room.
Thailand huh? Next destination? I dont know any private driver. The last time I were there, we used a taxi driver. Most taxi drivers there act as guides driving you around, charge almost the same with package to every tourists. Not cheap we thought. Better walk and travel by yourself.
Hotel room looks good.
I love love love the bathtub, so classic with its golden stands~
Me too but I did not have time to soak in it. Only the boys did. Sigh…
