When Kids Blog
With a blink of an eye, the long weekend is over. Can’t believe how tiring it is to spend time with two active boys these days. It is either age is catching up with me or the boys are getting tougher. Out of the four off days, we get to spend one day at home peacefully with no agenda planned as the daddy needed to attend to some matters with our new tenant.
As I was busy catching up on laundry and house work, I let Ethan update his blog. It has been some time since he last managed to sit down, update and reply to comments in his blog so he was very excited to finally have time to do all that. But look who’s busy ‘updating his blog’ too:
Yeah, little Ayden seemed to be busier than big brother Ethan.
Ayden is such a busybody. He was telling Ethan to click here, click there. LoL! I was on standby to see Ethan brushing Ayden off but surprisingly, he did not. Instead, he tolerated Ayden and pretended to follow his instructions!
So rare to see the big brother happily ‘layan-ing’ Ayden like that. Usually when Ethan is busy minding his own stuffs, he’ll get annoyed if Ayden disturbs him but not this time.
Look at that cheeky ‘apek’. His mouth is like that because it was full of rice. I took that opportunity to feed him some rice as he was napping when we had lunch earlier.
Ethan is getting really good at updating his blog. He can upload pictures effortlessly and adjust the alignment of his text once he has completed writing his story. He doesn’t take an hour to update a blog post anymore. He can do it much faster now :)
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my lovely readers who took the effort to hop over to Ethan’s blog to leave comments. You don’t know how much it meant to him to have some feedback. He learns a lot through blogging especially on his command of English and computer knowledge. With your comments, he also learns that whatever he writes will have an impact, good or bad so he will need to practice writing with caution and not just be a keyboard warrior.
In case you are wondering, here is his blog:
So nice, brotherly love!
For now they are nice lah. Let’s just hope this will last for a long, long time :)
I do sometimes read his blog, but I have never commented. I don’t know, it feels strange to me to try to interact with a small kid like an adult. So I just be a silent reader. XD
I understand. I too won’t be commenting on some little kids’ blog. LoL! Furthermore, he won’t be commenting back at your blog as he does not blog hop :D
Oh..I must visit his blog then but not tonight, too late already. Anyway, do moderate his incoming comments as the Internet is one big dangerous place.
Definitely. Even my blog is also moderated. Need to practice caution at all time.
Ethan is such a good brother to treat Ayden’s requests seriously. Just look at how happy Ayden is. I do leave some comments for Ethan sometimes to encourage him to continue blogging.
