Musical Christmas … at Corus hotel Kuala Lumpur
Can you believe that it’s December already? We are at the final month of year 2014. Time flies doesn’t it? Where did they go? In a blink of an eye we will be ushering year 2015 but I am not even done welcoming 2014!
Anyway, no point pondering over lost time. It’s better to start my December singing to Deck the hall with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la la. ‘Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la la la la la…
A Musical Christmas is happening right at Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur and we were there for their preview. Every Christmas, I always rush to desserts first before digging into the main courses as Christmas treats are always too pretty to resist. Let me show you some of the Christmas treats here at Corus Hotel.
Gingerbread House
Christmas Fruit Cake
Christmas Yuletide Log Cake
Christmas Mince Pies
Christmas Cake
Christmas Stollen
Don’t you agree with me that they are all very pretty? Such an eye candy that tastes even better. Alright, now that I am done with those beautiful desserts, let me take you for a walk along their main course.
The secret roast turkey recipe that was delivered all the way from the North Pole is back at Corus for Christmas this year! It feels so Christmasy tucking in to this irresistible chestnut stuffing infused with a bold combination of fresh herbs, apples, carrots and celery and zesty citrus orange cranberry sauce. Organically bred, the meat is so tender and succulent, I can’t believe I am eating turkey.
Each roast turkey purchased comes with complimentary serving of herbal roasted potatoes and seasonal butter vegetables too. It is priced from as low as RM330+ per 5.5kg bird, and RM45+ per additional kg bird. The promotion is valid from now until 31st December 2014.
My next favourite is this creamy pumpkin soup.
Ayden kept asking for more.
Chef’s favourite Lamb Stew
Grilled Salmon
Who says Christmas is all about turkey and roast beef? We can have fish too and here a big slab of salmon is grilled to perfection.
There’s also Stuffed Mussels if you are into seafood.
Shrimp Cocktail
Colourful desserts for the perfect ending.
Santa will give out Christmas goodies accompanied by Santarina, free party packs for all and their in-house trio, Music Notes spell of hot music to party all-night long. Ayden was dancing to them the entire evening. Diners can also look forward to their special performance of carolling, Christmas story play as well as activities to keep the mood going in the spirit of Christmas.
The kids had lots of fun here.

The cakes are so beautiful. Indeed 1 month to go before new year.

Wow those food looks really nice and beautiful!
Wah….the food looks so good especially cakes. Did you tried all the food?
I will probably have buffet for Xmas this year.
Really very tempting all the food but I am very scared of the crowd. I have been to one festive buffet in Corus before and wow, everyone really fighting for the food, so many people!
Just a question… 4 the christmas day brunch, is it also a buffet?
