Simple Chocolate Smoothie Recipe
Whenever we go out shopping, Ethan will always request to purchase a cup of smoothie. That cup of smoothie can be quite costly and at the rate Ethan and I hang out at the mall (EVERY day!) I can go bust any time!
Ethan and his must-have smoothie.
But ever since I got my PapaBlend blender, we’ve been making smoothies often at home. It is much more economical to buy your own fruit and yogurt and to blend them at home. We are also rest assured of what goes into our smoothie hence the peace of mind to let the little one have his smoothies almost everyday.
The other day, instead of having fruit smoothie, we tried something different. Ethan told me he remembered having the ‘chocolate ice-cream’ during the launch of PapaBlend that we attended back in February. Since he has been a good boy lately we decided to give him a treat. This time, the Papa did all the work while the Mama stood at the side taking pictures :D
All it takes to make this chocolate smoothie are a bar of chocolate, ice cubes and honey. You may add milk if you like.
Papa and Ethan putting the chocolate into the PapaBlend blender. Add honey and ice-cubes and start blending.
Blend until a smooth mixture is formed.
See that red arrow? The unique Aqua Orbitube will grind and circulate the blended chocolate ice around the jug to ensure more delicate and exquisite blending experience.
The BPA jug also means that it is able to withstand temperature up to 109 degrees Celsius, preventing our beverages from being contaminated. That also means I can make ready to drink soya bean milk from with this blender.
Once the chocolate smoothie is done, simply press the dispenser tap to drain out the smoothie. Good to the very last drop!
But guess what? We were so excited to gulp down our chocolate smoothie that we forgotten to take a picture of the end product! >_<
Anyway, cleaning the blender is not as difficult as I thought it would be. I just add water to the empty jug and blend for a couple of minute. Drain out the water and repeat if necessary until the water runs clear. That’s it! The blender is as good as new again!
Ethan may love this chocolate smoothie but I still prefer fruit smoothies. Check out the ice-blended honeydew drink Ethan made me back in March. Oh me, oh my, I’m thirsting for that already! Alright, time to dash out to get a honeydew. It’s super hot now I can really use a refreshing glass of honeydew smoothie :D
Wow…yummy! I need a cold drink now haha.
oh YUMMY!
nice and yummy.
Yummieh !!! CHOCOLATESSSS !!
I’m not sure whether my blender can blend ice or not ~~ *must read the manual carefully :P*
You try lah, if the blades kaput means kenot! LoL!
Hmmm..i looking for a blender that can ‘kling klung’ the ice..hahahah
