Our set meals dinner @ Paradise Inn, Sunway Pyramid
We found ourselves in Sunway Pyramid during one of the school holiday evenings. Tummy grumbling yet we were undecided on where and what to eat when we came across this:
Ethan can’t help but squirm on how cute those ‘things’ are and just like a ‘trap’, we were lured into its premise called Paradise Inn (near Jusco and Starbucks)
Hunger got into us so Darling ordered their Stewed Pork Belly before deciding what else to eat.
Stewed Pork Belly served with lotus bun (RM4.80 per piece)
These two are not willing to ‘dirty’ their hands eating the pork belly hence they requested for plastic gloves! @_@ How to enjoy your food like that, Darling?!!
That’s a huge piece! One piece of that and I’m already quite filled up but by then, Darling had already placed our orders.
We were told that they are now serving individual set meals so we can each have our choice of meals.
Darling ordered the Taiwanese Style Stewed Chicken (RM20.90++) for me. The green Thai chili sauce is a killer! I can’t have enough of it and even took Darling’s portion. But by then my tongue was in flames and I was blowing out fire like a Dragon!
I asked for cold water but the waitress told me drinking the warm soup (that comes with the set meal) will actually help soothe my tongue better and it seriously did! The soup they served that day was Double-boiled Sea Whelk with Spare Ribs and Chinese Yam. I did not know what Sea Whelk was but as I googled it just now I found out that it is actually a sea snail! Look ma, I drank snail soup! :P
Darling had this Steamed Chicken with mushroom that he thought was just okay.
I’ve got to stop photographing my food each time before I eat as someone is fast following my footsteps …
Ethan requested for the Daddy’s iPhone and refused to let him touch his meal before capturing images of our dinner! >_<
Darling ordered for Ethan this Stir Fried Udon with Seafood (RM22.90++) that comes with chicken wings but it was a little spicy for the little boy hence he swapped with the Dad. Ethan ate the steamed rice while Darling had this instead.
After the tongue burning ecstasy experience, I am dying for something COLD and refreshing so I had their Chilled Lemongrass Jelly.
Chilled Lemongrass Jelly with Lemonade (RM6.00) This I like! The tangy flavor is such a nice welcome after our heavy meal!
Darling shared with Ethan this Chilled Double-boiled Hashima with Red Dates and Dried Longan (RM12.00)
We left the place totally stuffed. Next time if I were to dine here again, I’ll make sure to order something with gravy. I’m just not the type to eat my rice dry. I need to drench or better, drown my rice with something, anything but not soup. Soup is to be enjoyed :P
Thai Chili Sauce! Yes! Think it goes well with chicken rice too right :P
Want to see how dragon’s merryn looks like.. haha!~
Haha..monkey see monkey do. That’s y Ethan’s following your footsteps.
Hahaha ethan is so cuteee! influenced by you XD
Goodness…damn delicious…the first dish. I am hungry already.
The Taiwanese style stewed chicken is already delicious on its own…war…if add the green chili surely yummy until…! :D
I will bear Paradise Inn in mind on my next trip there. Thanks for sharing.
