Launch of Dumex Mamil All ‘n One

Nine out of 10 growing-up children in Malaysia are lacking a balanced diet, which means they are not consuming the five key food groups (fruits and vegetables, carbohydrates, protein, dairy, and fats) in the right proportions. Most do not consume enough fruits and vegetables and are deficient in micronutrients such as vitamins A, D and calcium. They also have excess in protein and fat intakes.

The findings from the recent dietary study conducted by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and International Medical University (IMU), with the support of DanoneDumex (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (DanoneDumex) and the Dumex Sciences Institute, was on the nutritional status of Malaysian children aged between one and 10.

For this reason, there is an increased need for parents to ensure their child’s daily intake comprises different food groups that provide the nutrients he or she needs so they can achieve the right amount of nutrition per day.

This is where Dumex Mamil All ‘n One comes in. I was privileged enough to be invited to the launch of Dumex Mamil All ‘n One last Tuesday in Kidzania, Mutiara Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

“In line with our vision to spearhead nutrition for healthier Malaysian children, we are committed to continuously innovate and upgrade our products to provide Malaysian children with the right nutrition for their growing-up years. And this is where Dumex Mamil All ‘n One comes in. Dumex Mamil All ‘n One is specially formulated with nutrients from all the five food groups to help Malaysian children develop to their full potential” – Ms Toni Brendish

Dumex All 'n One

It was a very cute sight to see these little children coming out on stage holding the five key food groups –  fruits and vegetables, carbohydrates, protein, dairy, and fats

Designed to address the nutritional gap among children, Dumex Mamil All ‘n One contains 30 nutritional ingredients such as LcFOs, vitamins, minerals and fruits and vegetable extracts as well as 20 essential nutrients including DHA, protein, calcium and zinc.

We also got to sample this Dumex Mamil All ‘n One and just like all Dumex recipes, the formulation is sucrose free and has a winning taste amongst children, with a hint of Blackcurrant.

We were also served lunch after the launch. The buffet spread consists of all five key food groups and I am proud to say that for once I ate a balanced diet from ALL five food groups :D

It is so true…most parents neglect their child’s nutrition when it comes to food. Feeding them with all sorts of nonsense mainly out of love. What can I say, my brother is one of those….. sigh

So which do you think is better now? Dumex or Anmum? :p
