Going Japanese this Valentine’s Day at Fu-Rin Japanese Restaurant
From the very first year Darling and I dated, we’ve always celebrated Valentine’s Day having western food. I don’t know why, it was never Oriental, local or anything but it has always been WESTERN!
This year however, we celebrated Valentine’s with a twist. Well, besides celebrating it a week earlier and also celebrating it together with friends, we went Japanese this time around at Fu-Rin Japanese Restaurant, Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie.
Our appetizer was beautifully presented with an even lovelier name (Around The World) My favourite is the mighty prawn at the top.
What better name to give the above other than Falling in Love With You as three slices of fresh salmon, white tuna and yellowtail scattered with tempura flakes, fried leeks and fish roes was served before me.
Our main course starts with True Love From A Heart. Miso soup with bean curd and cute little mushrooms is easily Ethan’s favourite!
That boy polished his bowl of soup and some of the Daddy’s!
Aptly named A Love Between You & Me is this grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce. It’s like as if they know I super love fish especially salmon. This really made my day!
Since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, we took this advantage to Lou Sang with the gang.
Ethan is always the happiest tossing Yee Sang :D
Side track over, we ended our lovely dinner with this Endless Love dessert made of green tea ice-cream and adzuki beans.
RM220++ per set for dinner with a glass of sparkling wine, a stalk of rose for the lady and a surprise gift, we fell in love all over again.
Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Valentine’s to our lovely readers. Have a safe journey home.
I love the fish sashimi :)
