Kidzania : Revisited
Ethan made his first trip to Kidzania in March 2012 when they just opened. Read about it here. Back then many establishments are not operational yet.
We have since revisited Kidzania a couple more times to seek jobs in their new establishments and also to try securing jobs in other establishment which he did not have time to apply during his first visit.
Ayam Brand Cooking School
He learned to make tuna sandwich and eat it too.
Sushi King sushi bar
Occupation: Sushi Chef
Job Description: Make 3 types of sushi and bring them home :)
Vitagen factory
Make your own Vitagen and bring it home.
BHP Petrol
Occupation: Petrol pump attendant
Z mart
Occupation: Customers
Z Mart
Occupation: Cashier
Nippon
Occupation: Painter
He painted those lady bugs :)
Police in over-sized uniform >_<
TNB Energy Control Room
Occupation: Technician
He did all of the above plus reapplied for his favourite jobs such as window cleaner, fire-fighter, mechanic, pilot and more. It is so much lesser stress and tension going in January during the non-school holidays period as compared to our experience in December 2012 with parents pushing and shoving kids into queue lines.
Today, we rarely need to queue for any jobs. Ethan can just walk straight in for the interview and secure those jobs!
Never, ever are we going during school holidays again!
By the way, I forgot to bring my camera so pictures here are taken using my phone :)
I went to Kidzania last year with my boyfriend’s lil cousins. I was truly impressed and though I am far toooo old to participate, I truly enjoyed myself (as much as the lil’ ones) and I wished there was such thing when I was younger. Definitely a good place for kids to learn jobs first hand and omgosh, we went during school holidays. It was a nightmare to queue! O_O
Tell me about it! We queued for over 60 mins just to make sushi during the school holidays!
Looks like a great place for kids. You should give them business so that they won’t extinct by the hands of video games.
I memang wanna support them but sekali pergi (2 of us) at least RM100 gone leh. But it is truly a fun place to be.
Lucky kids. If only they had places like this when we were small – oh yes!!! I was small too once…a long time ago. You still are!!! Muahahahahaha!!!!
>_<
wow.. ethan has grown too fast haha.. now i wonder what among these profession will he be taking in the future..
There is one profession that is not featured in Kidzania – Blogger! :P
I have read so much about Kidzania! Can’t wait to bring Aden there since it’s very near to my PIL’s condo! (But have to wait few more years… haha)
Btw Merryn, I have re-linked your blog ^^
Yeah, at least until Aden is 4 years old. Too young nothing to do there oso :)
How nice to have such great exposures as Ethan during my kiddy days. Keep it up.
I oso wat. Kecik kecik last time where got all this? Playground oso tarak… Main pasir only :)
Chef / Drama = good XD
if he work in Vitagen, supply me ok? XD :P
If he works in Vitagen, you’ll get a bottle a year :P
I’m interested to the Vitagen making :)
Every kid’s fav. The queue is always long there.
Yalar, never ever go during school holidays.
Especially we all yang live nearby. I’ll drill in my head never ever to go during the school holidays again!
So which job is Ethan’s favorite? I hope it’s not window cleaner! Haha!
Foong,
It IS window cleaner! 3 times there, 3 times oso must go clean windows! -.-
It was such a bliss to go Kidzania on non school holiday, but i have no choice. We can only travel during school holiday. I will try to arrange on weekday and not weekend.
Ethan looks so natural in all pictures, he is indeed a very bright boy.
We are lucky to be living so near Kidzania :D
I have yet to visit this place….you have been there so many times. I must make this my new year resolution to bring my kids there :)
Oh Kitty, you MUST bring your kids there. At least ONCE! :)
i wanna go play the CSI! :P
You know, while they were playing CSI, they had to run all over Kidzania looking for clues and I had to run after them too. Told them not to run but kids being kids, so excited being a private investigator must go run fast fast while the chubby mommy is huffing and puffing behind >_<
It seem so fun! I would love to bring my siblings over! =D
Oh yes, you should. They’ll love it definitely :)
We just went there, too!~ Fun…….. But they said painting is for older kids, when my kids wanna go in… they become construction workers instead…
walaowei! Ethan boy look like a grown up kid! so much more mature now..hahahah! Like a family man (a pre-mature one)..LOL ! ^^
I still prefer my childhood playgroud. The rubber estate.. :)
Wow – Ethan can participate in so many role play …May i know do you go during weekday ? or weekend ? Last year we went on Saturday during Malay fasting month – we only manage to do 7. Will go there again – esp during non peak period ….
Hi Lynn,
