Merry Mulberry Christmas
Christmas comes early for us this year. Come to think of it, we always celebrate Christmas early! :D
Our early celebration was held at Mulberry Restaurant and Bar in Ming Annexe, Jalan Ampang, Lebuh Ampang. I remembered last year when I dropped by this place, I have this to say, “tucked in the ground floor of Ming Annexe Building, it is truly a hidden gem for I really like what I saw. My first impression of the place is how cozy and spacious it is”. It’s my second time here and I still hold true to my words. They are still as nice if not better now with a brand new look.
Ethan loves this corner where the wall is wrapped beautifully like a Christmas gift :)
I chose to have the grilled ribeye steak while Darling opted for the lemon salt seared sea bass. With every paying adult, kids below 12 years old eat for free. How nice is that? :D

Mushroom soup with chunky mushrooms, truffle oil, chives and croutons.
For his choice of mains, he took the Fish and Chips (Butterfish) served with green pea puree and capsicum tartar, Mulberry fries and apple and celery cabbage slaw.
Our Cream of Cauliflower and Celeriac Soup with toasted rice crusted scallop and plum tomato concasse
Our appetizer – Timbale of Slipper Lobster with melon duo served in chilled cucumber soup, petit sprouts, honey lime aioli and caviar
Darling’s choice of main dish – Lemon Salt Seared Sea Bass on bed of cauliflower cous cous, brussel sprouts, baby carrots and sugar peas with orange daube sauce.
For the very first time I took something that is not a FISH for my main course. If you know me very well you’ll know that I always have fish where ever I go. But this time I choose to have the Grilled Ribeye served on a polenta walnut bread, seasonal vegetables and topped with marjoram infused oxtail stew.

Our Red Velvet with apricot creme cheese dessert ends our dinner just perfectly. I love the candied nuts and fruits!
We enjoyed our dinner with free flow of Mulberry’s Sangria, a refreshing fruity red wine punch.
