Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012 – Night Glow

Eversince our very FIRST time going to the Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta when they first landed in Malaysia back in 2009 (read about it here), we have been hooked and been going back every year since. This is our fourth year and though I have my doubts that we are going to make it this year, Darling is determined to bring Ethan and not miss our annual trip there. We arrived Putrajaya shortly before 9pm and thanx to LUCK we got ourselves a very strategic parking space!

I remembered bringing Ethan to the very first Night Glow back in 2009 when he was only 2 years old. Read about our very first Night Glow here.

It is already year 2012 now. How time flies. Each year the same ritual. Go in the morning to see the balloons fly and come back night time for the Night Glow. But this year lain abit. We did not go for the morning event as we have class in the Studio.

So there we were, braving traffic and oceanful of people.

The most important essence of hot air balloon – the FLAME.

Beautiful isn’t it? I can never get bored of them. Year after year, we keep coming back though what we see is more or less the same thing.

This year is special as for the very first time we have team USA participating.

The cake balloon is also making its first appearance here in Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta this year.

Another new balloon.

Then it’s fireworks time. Ethan’s favourite :D

Beautiful! We are so lucky to have all this right here in Malaysia.

Next year, I think we’ll cycle to Putrajaya. We are lucky today to get a parking spot in less than five minutes and managed to get out of there in no time as well but I believe thousands out there are still stuck in the jam while I am here typing this entry :P

Wah! Yearly ritual? Blink your eyes and it will be another 5 years down the road. Do you think Ethan will still follow you to Putrajaya as a teen? : )

Nie. They had this in the Philippines not very long ago. Eeeeee….I hate crowds and jams. I think I’d pass… Well, at least, Putrajaya’s busy once in a year – by night, most of the time like a haunted place.
