CNY decor : The DRAGON @ One Utama
Remember I was sceptical about 1 Utama’s Chinese New Year decoration when I saw them re-using their Christmas 2011 decor? If you don’t, read about it here. Well, I was WRONG for the end result is amazing, better than their Christmas decor I must say! Check out their Christmas decor here.
This is the stage seen from a level above..

What caught my eyes is the DRAGON..
Only the DRAGON…
Amazing DRAGON that saves the day for without it I won’t be in love with the entire decor. Hehe..
Nice job there One Utama. As usual, it proves to be one of the worthy malls to visit for festive decor hunt

Yes, with the dragons, everything looks so different.

I must say the dragon will steal the show..but not the rest of the decor..lol. If only the size of the dragon is much bigger.

Are they tight in budget or something? To me i think it’s not original to re-use a decoration. Not for huge malls like OU. Btw the christmas deco was terrible, it doesnt relate to christmas at all… /just saying.

From what I read in The Star Metro today, they had only 6 days from the day after Christmas to set up the decoration, hence the need to be practical and creative by transforming the Christmas decoration into Chinese New Year. So, in a way, they have to recycle whatever they can.
Btw, do check out pictures I took at 1 Utama: http://www.1meow.com/photos/20120105/
