The fon dropped and it broke!

Ethan is having a one week break from school and is now with me 24/7. Gone are the mornings when I have 2 whole hours all by myself to update my blog and blog hop. Now, the first thing I do is prepare breakfast, then do laundry, then cook lunch, then wash dishes, then house chores that can go on and on and never end and when I finally have the time, I’ll play with him. By the time we stop to catch our breath, it’s dinner already, then it’s time for bed.
We did not go lepak in the mall as usual as the mall during this festive season is darn packed so we are cooped at home 24/7 no thanks to the rain that forbids us from going to the playground 
Today, I cannot tahan dy. I passed Ethan my phone and told him to sit down quietly and play with it while I do some ‘work’ on my PC. As I was busy processing some pictures, Ethan said…
Ethan: Mommy, I scratched my eyes!
Me: Hmmm… mmm (Eyes fixed on the PC)
5 minutes later…
Ethan: Mommy, I put my fingers in my mouth.
Me: Hmmm…mmm (Eyes still fixed on the PC)
Several minutes later…
Ethan: Mommy, I dropped your fon and now it’s BROKEN!!!
Me: WHAT?! ARGH! ETHAN!!!!!!!! I TOLD YOU TO HOLD IT PROPERLY BUT YOU JUST WON’T LISTEN RIGHT? NOW WHO’S GONNA PAY …
*and then I saw him standing there, clutching the fon really tight to his chest with the most disappointed look ever on his face*
He did NOT drop my fon
Merryn you stupid basket good for nothing MOTHER! All he wanted was your attention and he GOT that by saying he dropped and broke your precious fon that in his mind is obviously more precious than him! You don’t deserve his LOVE and ATTENTION! You got to be thrown into the sea for the sharks to feast on! Now go bang your head against the wall for you are seriously GOOD FOR NOTHING!
Just as I vow to be a better mother, reality always prove otherwise… :’(

No point throwing Submerryn into the sea she will just love the water. Lucky its not Ethan as food for the sharks. Relax and be aware, kids being kids they need TLC & attention and shall do all sorts of ways to get em. Actually Ethan is quite a smart kid. Take care.

It happened to me. My daughter is with me 24/7 for whole month! Although we still go out for all necessary purposes, I’m getting crazy. Unless I switch on TV, simply can’t do my online work. Just can’t wait for her to start kindy next month, so I’ll have 3 hours break to stay sane. The precious MY time. Don’t try being a Stepfordian Mom. Give yourself a pat on shoulder

I see something here. Ethan is so clever. You should be happy that your son is a smart boy. Not too worry, he knows that you love him most, you just too concenstrate on your ‘Me’ stuff. That’s it.
