MY Birthday

This Christmas was a GREAT one as I was with my family! We made our way back to my hometown in Malacca on Saturday only to be caught in a horrible jam that took us almost 5 hours to arrive our destination that usually takes only about 2 hours on ordinary days!
I arrived just in time to see this:
My sis and her two daughters already BBQ-ing.. NICE! That only means that FOOD is ready to be eaten 
I guess my sis is feeling a little hot in the derriere so here he is, my cousin’s son helping to cool her down! Muahahaha..
Ethan on the other hand, prefers steamboat to BBQ so I boiled the cocktail sausages and corn for him instead. My nieces envied the fluffy steamed corn (^_^)
He also had my Mom’s famous homemade Tau Fu Fah. No party is complete without it! 
My Mom’s YOUNGEST brother and ELDEST brother with the eldest wan looking like Colonel Sanders or David Letterman!
Here is my sister’s husband’s sister’s bestie and my sister’s husband’s sister herself! My English is very da kaput one. If yours is better than mine, tell me what do we call these two?

My sis surprised me with a birthday cake! It was not my birthday YET but since we are all in Malacca that weekend, she took the opportunity to celebrate my birthday then. Thank you CheChe

My Sis and I. Believe it or not, I happily placed that strawberry right smack back on the cake after taking this shot! Muahahahahaha.. so to those of you who ate that cake, you know whose saliva you had together with that cake (^_^)
Okay-lah, so I was one of those who had eaten her saliva and my anak super happy lagi tu! @_@

And TODAY, on the 28th December that is on my ACTUAL birthdate, I spent the entire day at The Curve/IPC with who else but Kimmy and his family
Whenever I’m at the Curve, I’m sure to make a stop at Daily Fresh for their corn in the cup and waffles. I super love their corn in the cup and I think theirs is the BEST ever! The kids had waffles AND corn
Finally TODAY I managed to get tickets to watch Chipwrecked! Woo Hoo! Darling left work early to join us at 5.30pm. Chip-wrecked is such a cute movie! Those chipmunks and chipettes are super adorable I just wanna squash them to death! Ok, so maybe that is NOT how CUTE supposed to sound like but seriously, all the time I was watching the movie, I had my fist clutched like as if I’m squeezing something! Tee hee hee…
Ethan and I enjoyed the show to the max but Darling said he should have watched Mission Impossible 4 Ghost Protocol ALONE instead >_<
And to end our day, Kimmy bought me this:
A slice of cake from Secret Recipe where he treated us to dinner as well.
Ethan’s spaghetti bolognese.
MY lasagna! You don’t know how LONG I’ve NOT had lasagna and tonight, the GARFIELD in me is PURR-ING happily! I used to have Dave Deli’s lasagna like every week during my college days and I seriously LOOK like Garfield back then!
I got this too from Jonathan. The perfect ending to a beautiful beginning in a new chapter of my life as an old woman. This cutie bear is to keep me young in heart forever.
I’m blessed to have people who love me enough to spend time with me to make getting older more memorable and less painful Thank goodness for family and great friends for without them, I am nothing.

pening one hor traveling during peak holiday like that. We used to go back to Melaka (mesti go back for Christmas) to see the lights decor at Portugis settlement. Somehow we could not this time otherwise we will get stuck too in the long distance jam like this
