Fuzion, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa

The first time I dined in Fuzion was in July this year during the holy month of Ramadhan. I fell in love with the serenity of the place that I went back there earlier this month.

Ethan was glad to be back at the spacious Fuzion, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa too.

Cosy setting for a small get-together

An ideal place to hold a celebration with your loved ones. It will be nice to celebrate my birthday here with family and friends next month, won’t it? :D

You may opt to dine outdoor by the poolside. Romantic max. I dined outdoor during Ramadhan and chose to sit indoor this time around. Next round? Outdoor again as I love the fresh air and Zen feel. It takes all the stress away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The inviting pool. I so wish to go for a dip in it.

Okay, let’s go makan first before jumping into the pool. As usual, when dining with Ethan, first thing to do is to get him a plate of pasta.

What I like about Fuzion is that even though we are having buffet, the food are prepared a la minute, freshly before diners. For those that can’t be prepared a la minute, the culinary team makes sure that the spread are prepared in reasonable proportion and to be topped up regularly ensuring that we get fresh, hot meals all the time.

The ‘live’ action stations of Asian, Western, Middle Eastern and Japanese cuisines, barbecue and more are nicely spread and placed so that we do not need to fight our way through with the rest of the crowd. SPACE is the keyword here. Queue is cut to the minimum hence you understand why I keep coming back for more…

The pasta of the day. I ordered this for Ethan but ended up having it for myself as Ethan prefers spaghetti…

He was enjoying grating his own cheese! It is always more enjoyable to feast when we are part of the process of preparing the dish :D

Here, the spaghetti he requested! @_@ The chef is so kind to accommodate to his request and made him this :D

I took this sauteed baby french bean with chicken floss anchovies for Ethan.

Their salad bar looks so good that I had to try the organic salad. Organic yo! How often do you get that in a buffet spread?

No buffet is complete without the cheese platter and here I did not miss the opportunity to try out their cheese too. I’m a cheese monster but as monster as I can be, I don’t take blue cheese! I just can’t take it.. urgh!

The lamb roulade with green chili deep looks so good that I can’t resist to have one. So succulent and tender, I can easily have multiple servings of this but I limited ONE for myself only as there are MORE dishes to feast on!

I found the BEST dish of the day here – Freshwater Prawn Noodle

He is so proud of his counter :P

Just looking at this picture makes me drool and crave for it again. The freshwater prawn noodle is so full of flavour it is amazing! They did not skimp on the ingredients and I was sold at the first sip! Just can’t have enough of this. I broke my buffet rules (of having only one serving of anything) and have second helping of this noodle! -.-

Seafood on ice.

Sushi is prepared fresh the entire evening.

Anybody care for a slice of roast? I did and I’m stuffed. I’m so looking forward to try their turkey this Christmas!

Ethan enjoyed some canapes too that evening.

Any kid’s favourite – dessert!

By now we are full to the brim. There are so much more to explore but Ethan and I can only eat that much.
