Casbah, Mandarin Oriental
Dining reaches new heights at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur with Casbah, a contemporary Arabesque lounge that opened in December 2010.

Casbah, which literally translates to “Castle or Palace”, complements the adjacent Sultan Lounge.
Upbeat DJ lounge music with exotic Arabian sounds and rhythms adds to chill out atmosphere until the early hours

Casbah features modern interpretations of a stylish and distinctive lounge concept steeped in the traditions of the Orient. Its opulent decor, comfortable sofas and soft mood lighting provides an ideal place to enjoy an informal soiree, to socialise and to escape from the frenzy of urban life.
Designed by award winning interior design company, the SWOT Design Group, this opulent and comfortable venue is reminiscent of a modern Arabian lounge. Casbah is the perfect place in which to relax with friends (while fantasizing you are Aladdin… with a magic lamp to rub on hoping for a genie to appear before you)
You may also opt to dine in the ‘private’ room for more privacy and belly dancing with your friends

This awesome bartender has great skills! I can just sit there the whole night watching him! ^^
Margaritas
Candy Floss… and some Vodka later… resulting in melted candy floss in cocktail! Totally cool!

Honestly…just my opinion of course…I don't think I will go to this kind of place. :/ Why? It is too dark…I just don't like it.
