New Milk in Town – Dutch Lady Kid & School Milk

See the picture above? That is our breakfast today. I hope it is healthy enough. Planning a meal for Ethan is a constant headache as I need to take into account how active he is and how nutrients for physical development is just as important as food that emphasizes mental development because he is rapidly growing.
When we were in Singapore the other day, Ethan was so engrossed with the travel activities that he doesn’t even bother to eat. The fact that we spent most of our time in tourist attractions made matters worse. Another contributing factor for him not eating was exhaustion. He is exactly like me, when I’m tired I prefer to drink than to eat. I guess that is because it is easier to digest liquid than solid food, am I right? I think I’m right (simple common sense~lah :P) I dunno. Maybe we were just too tired to chew! Hahaha :D
So like that-lah. Ethan drank, drank, drank and drank. Occasionally, he’ll eat. I feel guilty also you know when I see him not eating properly. Dah-lah he so petite!
Today, we are back in Malaysia and the first thing we did was to grab some light snacks when I came across this Dutch Lady Kid & School milk in the supermarket. I think this is a new product? I’ve never seen it before, have you?
As usual, I so very suka to try new things so I grabbed a pack of that milk. I took the kecik one, the ones that Ethan can easily hold. Eh, not bad wei. He loves it!
Then I remembered! Remember my post about the Dutch Lady Facebook contest? THAT has surely got to do with the launching of this new Kid & School Milk! Have you participated? If you haven’t, you should DO so IMMEDIATELY to avoid missing out on this fun (and extremely simple) contest that can win you GREAT prizes!
By the way, I studied further and found these information. The milk I saw is memang Dutch Lady’s newly launched Kid & School Milk. I saw the ad in The Star today.

Dutch Lady Kid for children age 1-6
Fortified with essential nutrients like magnesium, Vitamin D, Vitamin A, calcium and protein, Dutch Lady Kid is designed to meet the rapid physical growth needs of children aged between 1 to 6 years old. This was developed with the understanding that children in their formative years, experience tremendous growth across all areas of development; from learning how to walk to running, climbing and jumping, from basic shape recognition to learning how to hold a pencil, and onwards to drawing and writing. In addition, at the end of their second year, a child’s height can double & quadruple in weight.
Dutch Lady School for children age 6-12
As they begin their years in formal education, children in this age group need all the nutrients they can get to improve their attention span and enhance brain development for optimum academic performance. Hence, Dutch Lady School is customized with Omega 3, Omega 6, Vitamin B3 and Vitamin B6, for children aged 6 to 12 years old.
Slurp! :D

My daughter grew up on milk. She would keep a spoonful of rice in the mouth for half an hour without swallowing. Feeding her solid foods was such a chore…but as a result, she did not learn to eat proper meals till very much later – thin as a rake but she grew taller and taller (her long pants, she could use many years later…but as shorts!!!)…but at least she was active and healthy. The doctor said that was the most important!
