Empowering Teens. Restoring Families.™

School’s out and many tweens are out there wandering around aimlessly. Do you know where your tweens are? What are they doing to fill up their holidays?
The over a month long school holiday coupled with the year end festive mood may create ‘havoc’ to the simplest tweens around.
If you are working and your tween will be at home all alone most of the time, do take a minute back to think if your home is a safe haven.
Do you store liquor for entertaining guests? If you do, it is wise to lock them up before your tween starts getting bored and ‘thirsty’. If you like to enjoy a glass of wine after work each night, make sure you limit it to a glass each night for your tween may take up drinking too as they see you as their role model. Set consequences with your teenagers so that they know what kind of trouble they will get into if they do raid the liquor cabinet.

Teen addiction info stated that teen addiction is often on the rise during these long holidays spell. Lack of guidance and too much time to kill can easily mislead a teen into danger.
If your child is unfortunate enough to fall into the devil’s den, it is still not too late. Enrol them in a teen alcohol rehab. It’s nothing to be ashamed off, it’s part of a learning journey in life. Just be thankful that it did not come to a point where you have to enrol them into teen drug rehab!

Yes school holidays has started already, a very long one. Parents who have growing up children must spend some if not all quality time with them.It can be difficult for some parents who are working but constant watch over their children really is important.

The best way is the parents don't drink at all. But that's hard.
