Christmas @ VivoCity

VivoCity

Designed by world-renowned architect Toyo Ito, VivoCity is the centre-piece of Singapore’s newest lifestyle hub at the HarbourFront Precinct, which also includes Sentosa, Mt Faber, the Singapore Cruise Centre and the St James Power Station.

When we were in Singapore late last month, we managed to catch the early Christmas decor @ Vivo City
This is one towering Christmas tree! Standing at 104 ft, this Christmas tree at VivoCity is magnificent! Decorated with 600 baubles and featuring beautifully sculpted topiaries in the middle; this will be one of the tallest Christmas trees in Singapore. I bet this artificial Christmas tree will look impressively beautiful come night time!

The huge play area in VivoCity. Thank goodness Ethan was napping in his stroller or else we will need to camp there!

Did I tell you it was very hot in Singapore? If you don’t believe me, look at the picture above. That dude is sun-burnt! Hangus! :P But amazingly, he moves! He can swing up.. down.. and up again.. down again.. :D
We saw SuperStar Virgo – one of the items in my Wish List :D
SuperStar Virgo offers so much more than first class dining and entertainment – it takes you to places where the sun, sea, people and culture blend colourfully well.

Orchard Road – a road in Singapore that is the retail and entertainment hub of Sin City. It is regularly frequented by the local population as well as being a major tourist attraction. Often the surrounding area is known simply as Orchard.

What attracted me there was this 5-star Singapore Marriott Hotel with its unique oriental look. Its iconic green towering pagoda stands out beautifully on Orchard Road.
-ION Orchard-
@_@ LoL! That’s it for my post on VivoCity and ION Orchard! Why? As you know, I dislike shopping and when we were at these two places, what I did was sit down with Ethan at one of the eateries while Darling went ‘jalan-jalan’ ALONE!

That is HOW BAD a shopper I am! Next trip I must hire a shopper to walk with Darling! Anybody interested? You may fax your resume to me or straight to Darling (but if you are attractively beautiful, I won’t let Darling hire you! :P)

I think I may have visited Vivo City when I was in S'pore two years ago. Can't remember much about the mall except that it's really huge and that's where the bus will stop if one is travelling via Aeroline.
