Back to topic…

They did a great job last year bringing in a fishing village into my second home. See the pictures here. This year, 1 Utama is transformed into a paddy field for Hari Raya.

Scarecrow… First time seeing a real scarecrow up close and personal

What is this called? Gosh.. malu~ler gua. Simple things like this I don’t know..

Overall, I prefered last year’s fishing village with real sand and sea shells.

The design of this theme is such that it is inconvenient for us shoppers with kids. We can’t bring the strollers up there and it is way too crowded with just some narrow lanes to walk on. It’s nice to see but definitely not a place to walk on..

But thumbs up for the effort done this year 1U. Keep up the good job

Got padi, got tikus! Somebody posted on Facebook – said she saw a rat at 1Utama… Dunno real live one…or some guy who's a rat! LOL!!!

Just came back from 1U just now. I don't quite like the decor. Find the paddy area messy. But quite a good concept. Especially for urban folks who have never seen a paddy field.
