Finally, he’s THREE

Wednesday, 21 July was Ethan’s birthday. I woke up in the morning to find that there are no eggs in the fridge. Woke Darling up and coaxed him to go get a couple of eggs for Ethan

*I don’t drive, remember?*

Darling came back not only with two eggs but a dozen of them

He even bought nasi lemak for me. Bliss!

We then went out to get a cake for Ethan. He requested for a strawberry cheese cake but we could not find any so we settled for this.

Ethan and I really love this flavour. Both of us skipped lunch and had this instead

At night, we went to Fullhouse Lifestyle Store and Cafe in Sunway GIZA Mall for dinner.

You know Fullhouse’s menu book is very cute right? Ethan enjoyed the comic section of it.

Ethan’s Alfredo Spaghetti – Served with sliced chicken and shitake mushrooms with rich cream (RM17.90)

Ethan loved this. Darling and I found it just OK. Nothing much to shout about. A little too strong on the black pepper though.

Ethan’s Vanilla Iced Blended – Vanilla + Mango topped with Red Bean (RM7.90)

OK~lah, can’t be too fussy. As long as the kiddo loved it.

My Pan-Sear Dory Fish – Served with Asian green, mashed potato, sauted shitake mushroom and lemon grass cream (RM14.90)

Where’s the fish?

There. Can you see the fish now? The first few bites were quite tolerable but after sinking my teeth on the third piece, I started to taste nothing but oil. The oil overwhelmed the fish in this dish. Disappointed.

Darling’s Oven Roasted Chicken Tenderloin – Roast corn fed chicken tenderloin with shitake mushroom and tomato basil cream (RM18.90)

Serving portion is very small

Darling tried slicing the chicken and told me that it was difficult to do so. I thought he wanted to be spoiled and wanted me to feed him so I took over. Tried slicing further and I discovered that they had actually served us a Grandmother Chicken! OMG, it was so tough and dry, this has got to be a menopause chicken on the plate! Thank goodness none of us were on dentures or you’ll get to see a picture of denture on our plate!

I told the Person In Charge – whoever he was, I forgot his name. My bad

and within minutes that dish was substituted with this.

Grilled chicken thigh served with mashed potato, daily vegetable and black pepper raisin

I took a bite of it and was about to say that this is not too bad when Darling had to say this, “It’s like eating Mc Donald’s Prosperity Burger!” *slap forehead*

Overall our verdict to this place -FAIL.

I don’t think I’ll ever dine there again. To make matters worse, the staffs there are mostly foreigners with extremely little knowledge of English. We had difficulty communicating with them.

Whatever it was, Ethan enjoyed his spaghetti and he said he loved dining there

He enjoyed his birthday and at the end of the day, he said he is happy. That is all that matters

Read about this in some bloggers' posts, the ambiance is nice though.. yes, too bad the food was not good.. actually now we customers can complain liow.. not like those days.. the other day in gentings,my son's piece of chicken still got little bit reddish.. i called the waiter and he happily changed a new piece for him and apologized two times.. nice of him.. but hopefully nothing added to the chicken in the kitchen.. hahaha..

Happy belated birthday, Ethan! Wow, the three of you ate one whole SR cake??Eh, how come Fullhouse's standard in Giza is so bad? The one near my place is good wor! The preparations looked so different. Over here, the pan-seared dory doesn't look like that. It's creamy, not oily… very, very yummy one, my fav!
