My Dream Come True – The Secret Garden

If you don’t already know, there’s a Secret Garden in my second home. Yes, I’m talking about THE Secret Garden in 1 Utama. Open on weekends only, I never got the chance to pay it a visit as Darling always brushes off the idea fearing that it might be too hot up there. *He knows me is Candle Princess

*Today, Darling dropped me and Ethan in 1Utama before heading off to somewhere.. The first thing that came to my mind was, “Hey, it’s the weekend, the Secret Garden is open and Darling is not around”. So I quickly took the elevator up to the Rooftop and it opened up to ‘Heaven’.
Such beauty right smack in the middle of a city on a shopping mall! I … I …. sigh.. no words to describe how I felt that time. It’s like falling in love all over again. It’s definitely going to be MY regular hang out from now on.
If you think it will be scorching hot at the Upper Roof Level, well.. not exactly. The garden is actually very shady with lots of mist spray everywhere. This Candle Princess here did not melt ok? Can you see the mist in the picture above?
I’m no expert when it comes to plants but I’m easily pleased. What I saw in the garden has already captured my heart 
Pink, white or red.. which is your favourite? Ethan first said red, then he saw the pink and said pink, then later decided that he loved WHITE! *slap forehead*

What are those? If I’m not mistaken I always see them during Chinese New Year? Was it CNY? Or some Chinese festival… Seeing them dangling up there like that is just so cute!
The Secret Garden of 1 Utama is an experimental garden using novel technologies to grow 500 species of interesting, rare and unusual plants in an open tropical roof-top environment. The soil medium is based on granulated horticultural carbon (a form of charcoal). Chilled water is provided by sprinklers at night.
And then.. since we are already in 1Utama, why not right? Second round of Elmo-ing. Ethan got to high five Elmo this time around.
Tell you a joke~lah. Whenever Elmo makes his appearance here, he’ll appear with Cookie Monster. Everybody will rush towards Elmo, leaving Cookie Monster all alone! This time, when Ethan rushes towards Elmo (the rest of the kids are either crying or koala-ing) Cookie Monster went to a corner and ‘cried’! I laughed so hard when I saw that. Even the adults rushed to be photographed with Elmo! The MC had to pester the rest to at least go to Cookie Monster to ‘give face‘. LOL! I should have recorded Cookie Monster ‘crying‘. So, so farnee!!!
